Internet Came into existence just a few decades ago but it got great growth of users in this decade of 2000 to 2010. in 2000 only 380 Million people where using the internet which has crossed 1.9 Billion in 2010. More people than ever before and joining the online World. Everyday thousands of people are getting new internet connections. if i give example of my country Pakistan many new Internet Broadband companies are coming into existence every month which are offering Internet Broadband on cheap rates which is increasing the Internet users very rapidly. Now According to a latest report issued by (ITU) it is claimed that there will be more than 2 Billion Internet users until December 2010 or we can say at end of this year.
the total world population in 2010 is 6.876 billion and 2 Billion Internet users means that 30% of the total world population will be using internet until the end of this year. There is increase of 226 million Internet users in 2010. Internet usage is growing very rapidly in India, China, Pakistan which are South Asian Countries with huge population. 71% people of the developed countries are using internet at present which are increasing slowly. If we talk about Developing countries here only 21% people are using internet in which a huge increase is expected in next few years.
