Gmail is further integrated with Google+

Today Google announced what it says is "a better experience of notifications by e-mail Google +". In its official blog, it shows what it mean: from now Google+ will have  a custom interface for those who opt to receive notifications in their inboxes. Through it you can answer posts directly in Gmail without having to even open Google +.

The new interface also makes responses in Gmail can mark posts with +1 and view comments on posts in real time, which leaves Gmail "completely interactive," says Google. You can see below how your account should be activated when you have this functionality.

Moreover, those who use mobile applications to access the e-mail (be it a Gmail account or not) can answer these messages they will be automatically published as answers too. But this response only works for clients using standard IMAP or POP, which is the second Google Android 2.5 (hi?) And iOS 5 (or later) and BlackBerry. For some reason Windows Phone is not in play.

It's nice to see Google increasingly working to integrate its 'social layer' in the other services of the company, but I think he is getting a fever of integration.
