ASUS Transformer AiO comes with Windows 8 and Android

In addition to announcing a different notebook at Computex 2012, ASUS also brought a second innovation to the table, literally. The company showed the Transformer computer AiO All-in-one different in two respects. The first is the fact that it is dual-boot with the latest version of Android and Windows 8 already installed from the factory.

The second, and perhaps the strangest of them, is to have a 18.4 inch screen that stands out.  Close to the monster 22-inch ViewSonic announced yesterday by the Transformer AiO does not seem that big, but still scary. Its screen is LED backlit and supports up to 10 simultaneous touch points, which should be enough no matter the system. By the way, ASUS ensures that your computer has a transition between systems is very smooth, but according to Pocket-lint presentation on stage was not so.

One detail that is important to note is that even when it is decoupled from the base, the 18.4-inch tablet is not meant to be loaded with hands everywhere. It has a retractable rear support that allows you to stand on a flat surface. The column of its future users will thank you.

The rest of the specs of this model are still a mystery, but by running dual-boot Windows with Android 8 is possible to deduce that it has an ARM processor inside, maybe a line of NVidia Tegra. But we'll know for sure when the manufacturer releasing details. There is no estimated release date or price.
