Yahoo Mail was down for some users, but is now back

The day was not very good who those who uses Yahoo Mail web-based. Mashable reports that Yahoo's webmail service has experienced difficulties in the morning of Wednesday. However, it is good to make it very clear that not all service users were affected by the failure. I even access my Yahoo Mail without any problem, everything was in place, even if no new message has arrived, as usual since I adopted Gmail.

For all we know, Yahoo Mail has returned to work. In a statement, the website says that "we worked quickly to resolve the problem, and we are pleased all services are restored and full functionality."

While I was down for a limited number of users, access to Yahoo Mail had a message that the page was not accessible and the "Error 501" was recorded. This type of error with respect to HTTP and can be caused by various reasons - all caused by the charge of the site.

When he heard the crash, Yahoo issued a statement saying that his team worked on the issue so that access to Yahoo Mail was reactivated. Apparently, the service continued to function through delivery protocols and messaging, such as POP3 and IMAP, which leads me to believe that the problem was in the same configuration mail.yahoo.com, the address used by the portal to host the webmail.

Anyway, it's always annoying when an important service as the email goes down. It may be that Yahoo Mail in offer your character freely, but this does not relieve the responsibility for the portal messages from the time that users come to rely on Yahoo Mail. I think, even for free, a web service has duties to its users - not least because this "free" should appear in quotes, since Yahoo makes money from the webmail through advertising.

If any Brazilian users of Yahoo Mail has verified the problem, please manifest in the comments. In fact, if some Brazilian continues to use Yahoo Mail, please be revealed in the comments too.
