How to use Gmail offline?

Gmail has a unique feature that, when set, allows access to mail without connecting to the Internet. Obviously, you can not send or receive new mail, but it is a great tool to use Gmail offline.

The appeal, however, is still limited to Chrome users. If you use the Google browser and want to know how to access your e-mail without an Internet connection, follow the steps below.
Step 1. If you do not have, download and install Google Chrome here. You'll find the download for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X;
Step 2. In Chrome Web Store, search for "Gmail Offline";
Step 3. Click "Add to Chrome" to install the extension in the browser;
Step 4. Press "Install" to confirm the installation. There is no need to restart your browser;
Step 5. Open the "Gmail Offline", which is in the "Applications" on page "New Tab";
Step 6. Check "Allow e-mail off-line" and click "Continue".

Ready! Now, wait a few minutes before the application can download your email and sync with Gmail. Note that, as prompted by the application, you should not configure the Offline Gmail on a public or shared computer.
