8 current technologies that will shape our future

The technologies of today's increasingly part of our daily tasks. For this reason, Mashable decided to list the eight technologies that will help shape the future of humanity.

According to Rick Chin, director of product innovation in SolidWorks, the technology will reach a high level of customization in just 20 years. And then that is people's lives will change and improve all the time.

"We will be physically more comfortable with the furniture we sit and the products we have in addition only the most relevant information from friends and family catch up. Our movement in the digital world is about to be telepathic, "Chin confirmed.

The director of product innovation SolidWorks considers that several current technologies are relevant to this vision of the future. He believes they will evolve and become not only more powerful, but also will integrate with other technologies. Below is the list of Mashable:

1. Smartphones

Smartphones today are as much a computer as a communication device. With a multi-touch interface and a fast CPU, they contain cameras, GPS and compass. They can also calculate and communicate anytime, anywhere.

In the future, they will evolve into what we will call mobile personal computers (PMC). And assuming that Rick Chin is right, the mobile CPUs will have a super speed. Thus, the PMC and personal peripherals will become the interface of any person to any other computer you interact.

2. 3G and 4G Wireless Broadband

"How many bars of signal do I have?".
Often, we check the signal strength of the smartphone while we browse the Internet or in our e-mail. The today's 3G and 4G networks provide connections that are acceptable, but which are often broken and it needs to change.

In the future, the deployment of cell towers will no longer be expensive and time consuming to be faster and organic. The wireless network providers will charge monthly credits to have devices like the 3G Microcell, AT & T at home. And with enough of these devices, the connection of wireless networks will become solid, even in remote villages and neighborhoods.

Therefore, in future, mobile personal computers (PMCs) will not require a signal strength indicator, because the wireless access 3G and 4G will be solid, quick and penetrating, and ultra-fast.

3. Cloud Computing

Few technology providers have done a good job explaining or providing services that are relevant to the great mass of the population.

Thus, it is expected that cloud computing's future, keep all our personal information and applications available at any time.

This technology will work, whether you are editing a text document while driving a train, or if it is just adjusting a proposed sale in the office of a client. The important thing is that you are never without the information needed to complete the task.

4. Eye-Tracking Commands and Voices

Currently, the eye-tracking technology is mostly used in usability research. That is, firms try to find out what users see once they open a web page. Since speech recognition is used heavily in products that aim to transcribe the spoken text.

In the future this technology will be combined with augmented reality (AR) and will seek to create a user interface for your PMC. The object you see and the words you speak will be transmitted to the PMC, which will interpret your intent, and then transmit the results back to you, either visually and / or verbally.

An example would be when looking at a restaurant and disesse: "Do they have good salads?" After a few seconds you receive the information on your PMC.

5. Augmented Reality

Augmented reality today (AR) add texts, symbols and images in virtual 3D videos. The point of all this is the video tor more informative and even more interesting.

According to Mashable's site, the future of HR should be the glasses. They will project images onto the lens using components that are almost imperceptible and that is your PMC will display information about the glasses. For example, if you look at a symbol and say something, your PMC will act on the message being conveyed and will minimize the displayed information, limiting it to only what you need to know.

6. Social Networks

The social networks that exist today, such as Facebook and Twitter, require users to do extra work that it has any value. This means we must manage our entire community of friends and followers, through all the tweets and posts, for those that really interest us.

In the future, the management of our network will be dynamic and automated, the system itself will make the connections. As updates of posts, for example, only those relevant to you right then will appear on your PMC. In addition, social networks also expected to become increasingly integrated with other components of our digital lives, such as calendars, address books and GPS.

7. CAD (Computer-aided design)

The computer aided design is popular with engineers, designers and students who typically aim to create product designs in 3D. However, the software is often too advanced for the average consumer who wants to design their own products.

In the future, however, the CAD will allow the average consumer can design their own customized products in an easy and affordable. Consumers will have access to a simple software that will be able to combine pre-defined characteristics. In addition, they will be able to further customize by adding your own palette of colors, images, shapes and sizes.

8. Autonomous cars

Today's cars come from a variety of driver assistance, but nothing that allows him to direct all alone. Currently, you can get cars that have GPS, despite the luxury car manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Volvo provide more.

In the near future, cars will be autonomous, where the driver control is optional. Even though this thought may seem daunting, the cars are safer than any vehicle you've ever imagined. This is because they will constantly evaluate your environment with its various external sensors.

Will it be difficult to operate? Probably not. The idea is that your PMC work as an interface for any device, including your car unattended. That is, he will know your schedule and address book, so when you get in your car one hour before an appointment, GPS car will instantly display the destination address and arrival time. All you have to do is say, "Come on!"
