Microsoft continues to invest heavily in WP7 and recently launched the Mango, the first major upgrade to the system.
But that success is achieved, the software giant needs the support of major handset manufacturers. Fujitsu, ZTE and Nokia smartphones are expected to produce a new version of WP7 soon, but that was the Acer went ahead and announced the first smartphone that comes with Windows 7 Phone Mango.
The new smartphone from Taiwanese manufacturer has a capacitive screen of 3.5 inches and a resolution of 480 x 800 (WVGA). The camera has autofocus and 5 megapixels.
