Rumors Next iPhone may have 8-megapixel camera

This time, the Japanese site Macotakara said on Monday (30) that the company Steve Jobs is preparing the fifth iPhone (or iPhone 4S) to arrive in late July or early August with 8-megapixel camera and without the need of SIM card to access the mobile network.

Yes, the Japanese portal specializing in Apple contradicts other recent rumors claiming that the fifth version of the device will be called iPhone 4S, an analogy to the 3G model that showed little change from its predecessor, with only a slight upgrade of internal components. Still, it is worth remembering that the iPad 2 obtained the exact same type of update, but it bears the name of the successor to the official numbers of the first tablet.

Anyway, the next iPhone, according to Macotakara, will include a processor based on ARM Cortex-A9, but had not yet been clarified whether it would be dual-core 2 as the iPad, or with only one core as the current version of smartphone. If the previous actions indicate something Apple is likely to be rather the same chip of the tablet.

The rumor also says that the device will have a system that does not require SIM cards, although other rumors assert that there would be a model even smaller than the iPhone MicroSim 4. He will also have three or four internal antennas to allow the sale of the same hardware anywhere in the world, working with both GSM and CDMA - ie, allowing use with U.S. wireless operators T-Mobile, AT & T, Verizon and Sprint without the need for adjustments.

Since the improvement in the camera is to be expected, since there is a need to at least match the product over the competition - the Samsung S2 Galaxy also has 8 megapixels, plus the ability to record movies in Full HD (1080p).

Taking advantage of this is likely to leave Apple iPhone compatible 5 with the maximum resolution on TVs via HDMI already marketed for iPad (currently it can only display images at 720p on the iPhone 4).

As if all the rumors were not enough, many of them conflicting, the Macotakara yet ventured to talk about the iPhone in June. According to Japanese website, the next "important new handset will arrive in the spring of 2012, equivalent to the fall in Brazil. The machine count on technology to bring Sharp LCDs polysilicon for a thinner, lighter design. Again, it is good to notice: nothing more than rumors, though the source had hit "predictions" about the beginning of the iPad 2 years.
