After nearly two months of development, the team behind WordPress for IOS has just released a major upgrade of the application. Now WordPress 2.8 for IOS has an icon called "Quick Photo", it allows you to take a photo and insert it to your blog in a practical and rapid, making it much easier and create short posts while you're not at home.
The new version of the application also adds support to the WordPress Stats plugin, allowing you to see your traffic daily, weekly and monthly as well as the most visited posts, sites that gave him more visits, and where readers are clicking more. But here you need to install the plugin or Jetpack WordPress.com Stats on your site, just so that this function is enabled in the IOS.
The use of statistics is available on the WordPress app for Android in a while, but the IOS version is much cleaner and easier to read.
Quick Photo option is also a unique feature of Apple devices, at least for now. Besides all this, the developers also added support for 10 languages, including Portuguese.
Despite many improvements that this new version brought to dp WordPress IOS, it still needs improvement. For example, when you post something that requires a good formatting, you have to know a little HTML, as there is no button to make the fonts you select bold or italic. Other options will also require you to know a little HTML as a text alignment and so on.
