Last week an internal document leaked from Apple's support for the public. In it the company made it clear that any Mac user who could be infected with malware Mac Defender should figure out yourself how to remove it. Yesterday, however, the company's attitude has changed. A document describing how to handle the program was published in the field of online help from Apple.
The document tells how users can avoid becoming infected, since in some cases the program's installer can be downloaded by the browser and automatically initiated without user interaction. It also shows a step by step how to remove it, if your Mac Defender is already installed and running on the computer.
In addition to publishing such statements, the text also says that Apple will release an update to the system that automatically finds and deletes the Mac Defender and any of its variations, which is a commendable attitude to some of the company. But we know that they only did so to avoid further bad publicity.
This update to Mac OS X does not have time to be released.
