Facebook has adopted an alert service to help users do not click on links in questionable Internet, with a rating system of websites developed by a start-up Finnish.
The new alert service, Web of Trust (WOT), a company based in Helsinki, Finland, Facebook will help improve the security of the site for over 500 million users, amid growing concerns about fraud, spam and malware in web.
The WOT calculates the reputation of 31 million web pages and updates its rating two times per hour, based on feedback from approximately 20 million users.

Facebook declined to comment on the volume of security attacks that receives and values according to WOT were not disclosed.
