Google explains what happened with Blogger Yesterday?

The short news: Blogger is back! You can now access the control panel of your blog and write a new post instead of cursing the service and going to WordPress.

"I'm back"
The big news: Blogger is back, Google said on its official blog. According to the company, the hosting service has been inaccessible for 20 hours, since the afternoon of Thursday (12th May).

The cause of the outage were corrupted data, which affected the behavior of Blogger.

"Yesterday we went back to Blogger for a state before the service maintenance and put in read-only mode while we worked to restore the entire contents. " The head of department said that triggered a backup of your Blogger done on Wednesday (11). As new posts and comments were published, the team had to restore the service (in fact, is still restoring) it all.

As usual, Blogger has apologized for what happened. "We'll do our best to avoid it happening again. " It's the least that can be done, of course: learn from their mistakes, as common sense usually dictate.

And who asked if Google missed the Blogger, the answer is it felt. The company also use blogs to Blogger technology, and were also impacted by the failure.
