Gmail is undoubtedly the best e-mail service that may exist, perhaps the best product of Google and better than its rivals. I'm sure there are millions and millions of people out there who have an email in Gmail or have set up your company with Gmail.
No matter what you do, Gmail is great for the various features offered (or you can turn) to help in the interaction with our mailings. One of them is undoubtedly its own search engine, and well, come on, if the person behind Google Gmail, the search engine helps a lot to find those emails in the past.
However, as there is no absolute perfection, there are ways to improve how search within Gmail and this is a single command.
It is very likely that some already know them, but many still do not, and we use them can save much time searching. On this occasion we shall provide commands that will help us find those emails with attachments that we have received in the past and perhaps with a traditional search or normal, we would take a long time.
When I refer to emails with attachments, highlight those documents and emails. Doc as an attachment or PDF's (. Pdf) or images with specific formats.
Simple commands to search for emails with attachments
has: attachment - this command will result in all mails that have attachments.
has: attachment doc - This command shows us those emails with documents in. doc as attachments.
has: attachment pdf - simple command to find the email that contains file attachments as documents. pdf
filename: google *. doc - This command shows search results in all email attachments with documents in. doc file whose name has the word "google" to start
filename: * google *. doc - similar to the previous command but with the difference that the word "google" is anywhere in the filename.
filename:. doc OR filename:. html - simple command to find those emails with attachments formatted documents. doc or. html.
filename:. doc AND filename:. html - Similar to the above command but with the difference that shows emails that have attachments with both formats.
