Ford car and Google want to do that 'reads minds' of the driver

Ford and Google have teamed to develop an intelligent car that can anticipate needs and commitments of the driver. Using the API (Application Programming Interface) Prediction of the search giant, the company wants its cars can predict where the driver wants to go and improve the performance of the path.

The site TG Daily says that the automaker will use a new Prediction Google API, which uses a learning algorithm to offer suggestions based on past trips to the driver.

According to Engadget, the idea is to make Ford the car learn the ways and preferred destination of the driver according to past experiences. Thus, in the same time of day, for example, where the driver will usually work, the car can use this knowledge, combined with traffic information, to make a better route to that destination.

The intention, in addition to optimizing the city traffic, is to reduce fuel consumption, making the most trips are short, quick and enjoyable as possible.

The system is not yet ready for showings, but Ford already guarantees in advance that the data of system users are protected.
