Galaxy Tab original starts getting Android 2.3

Samsung started releasing the update for Samsung Galaxy Tab of Android 2.3.3. The first to receive the update according to website Pocket-lint will be the Italians, but the new version should be available to the rest of the world.

Since the official launch of the Galaxy Tab in Brazil, two other models of the tablet has been shown by Samsung, a mesh of 8.9 and another with 10.1-inch screen. While the younger generation will be released with Android 3.0, Galaxy Tab was originally sold with the Android 2.2 and not see even a shadow of said honeycomb version of Android. The excuse for not upgrading to the system, used by 10 out of 10 manufacturers of devices with Android, is that the hardware would not support this version.
