Google Presents Chromebooks, their laptop with Chrome OS

Today Google has presented  Chromebooks, their laptop with Chrome OS.  The Chromebooks come with the Chrome OS and supposed to be the fastest laptop in the market. On this Laptop we need not to install anything, no application, no software, nothing. In fact, the charging time is also only 8 seconds.

Just we need an internet connection (either data plan or WiFi) to work with applications that are in the cloud and also keep our files on the internet, obviously on Google services such as our photos on Picasa or documents Google Docs or other files on box.net.

The Chromebook manufactured by Samsung has a 12.1-inch screen and a battery life of 8 hours. Chromebook tools manufactured by the Acer has a 11.6-pulgasas screen and a battery life of 6 hours. Acer eye version has HDMI while that of Samsung.

Both versions feature an Intel Atim N570 1.66GHz, 1-megapixel webcam and 16GB SSD storage. Also 2 USB ports, support for memory card reader, keyboard Chrome standard size and a touch screen.

I have read many comments in the network about Chromebooks, many said they would love to buy it. however It personally do not convince me.

In the U.S. the sale begins June 15 and in Spain a couple of days later by Movistar and Pixmania.  The price will be less than $ 500.
