Microsoft plans to open new retail stores

Inspired by the great success we enjoy the famous Apple Store around the country (and the rest of the world, do yourself justice) Microsoft prepares to enter the time in the U.S. retail with a substantial expansion of its Microsoft Stores, which began their activities a little less than two years.

Since October 2009, Microsoft has opened 11 retail stores in several U.S. states - the youngest began operations in Los Angeles, California, last June 30 - which follows the business model of Apple rival offers computers and laptops from brands like Sony, Dell, Acer and Lenovo, as well as programs and other electronics, such as the Xbox 360 console and Zune music player, which won thousands hundreds tens of consumers around the planet.

On Wednesday, during the world conference of partners of MS, the company promised to "accelerate" the opening of stores across the U.S., with 75 new outlets over the next three years. Europe, Latin America and Brazil, for now, are outside the company's plans, but curiously, in the late 90's the company was opening a physical store this side of the equator. Meanwhile, her rival fruitful side of the force has 350 stores open for over 10 years in the market.

As noted by the site Neowin, during the presentation of the company's plans for the U.S. market was shown a picture of a mysterious "Apple reseller in Latin America" that showed an Apple computer running Windows 7, which apparently led the crowd to madness .
