Google Plus Privacy

Google Plus in the air. All very nice, all very gray. Gradually, the Brazilians will reach users in new spending on social networking giant's website. Just not as keen on the so-called control of information sharing service. A page in the help section of "Google + Project" shows that Google has no intention of offering private profiles.


Mashable found that the character test + Google does not provide for the creation of private profiles, in which participants in the social network to hide all your information. This ends on July 31, when private profiles no longer exist, according to information provided by Google.

"The goal of Google Profiles is to allow you to manage your online identity. Currently, almost all of Google Profiles are public. We believe that the best use of Google Profiles is to help people find and connect with you online. Profiles are not allowed to do this, so we decided to require that all profiles are public. "This is how the company supports the position of offering only public profiles.

And what will happen to my profile if I do not want to open it to the world? Will be deleted, also according to company information. There are no exceptions. Or the profile is open to all fuçarem see, or does not exist.

Google says Google + asks only the full name of the account subject to release.

Facebook has always allowed the internet to decide which profile information can be viewed by different levels of contact. Update - 07/06/2011 13:05 | Some readers have understood that only show the name and gender will be required to display a Google Profile +. The help page on the subject says the following:

Remember that his full name is the only mandatory information that will appear in your profile. You can edit or delete any information other than to share.

In my understanding, name and gender are minimal. Any other information can be removed. They remain in the profile will be public. But I may be wrong, of course. I am in contact with Google to make this clear.
