Review: Notebook HP Flowers

Recently, HP and a large retail chain announced a partnership to sell the HP Flowers in Brazil, a notebook clearly aimed at women who do not require a computer's performance so great. TechTudo staff had access to this machine and, of course, we did a very complete test for you.

Design
Following the line of the design computers of HP, Flowers has great construction and a finish line first. The rounded corners and varnish applied to the notebook gives a feeling of cleanliness, even with flower designs.
The notebook is all in pearl-white flowers with details that extend from the lid to the base for the hands, all with glossy finish. The trackpad has also received attention from HP. It's not like the glass of the Macbooks, but details have flowered across the surface.

The chiclet keyboard is much better finished than most notebooks sold there. In pulled a white lilac pearlescent finish with the same typography and classic HP, the keys are very beautiful. Moreover, they are shallow well - which makes the entry of dirt at the same time it facilitates cleaning.

Turning on the computer and start Windows, we had a pleasant surprise: the wallpaper matches nicely with the computer. Yes! It has the same floral design as the rest of the PC. It is a pity that the screen has that glossy finish, which hinders more than it helps when trying to use the computer in a lighter environment.

Settings and performance
HP a little disappointed when he decided to adopt this configuration. It turns out that there is little memory to the computer, only 2GB. Furthermore it is shared with the video card, that is, nothing much in it to play.

The processor is an Athlon Dual Core P360, a good processor, but it heats up a bit. To give a basic melhoradinha performance, HP has included an HD 7200 rpm (typically 5000), but with only 320 GB of storage space.

The screen is quite large, with 14.5-inch, LED and glossy finish. In time to watch videos at night it sends fine, but the time to read in front of the computer, with the lighter environment, forget it.

A strong point was the battery life: In common usage, the battery held up 5:30 minutes and took less than an hour to load 70% load.
The video card is a Radeon HD 4250, ideal for watching high-definition video or playing games less demanding, but you can not play something heavier.
The system had a good overall performance in Geekbench, scoring 2346 points. A good brand to a mid-end notebook.

Cost-benefit
Has become classic: When a laptop is pretty disappointing performance. When he is nice and performs well the price is the one who disappoints. HP broke that taboo and the notebook while selling only a famous retail chain, its price is very inviting for women who want a reasonable performance and a very nice notebook.
