Death of Amy Winehouse turns Facebook scam

Dead on Saturday, the singer Amy Winehouse has become subject to several scams circulating on the Internet. Attackers have taken advantage of public curiosity to spread pests and direct access to pages that do not actually have any content on the fatal death of the artist. And detail: Facebook is among the most used sites for this type of practice.

It always does. If a subject comes into evidence, the criminals are now setting out to use these issues to malicious practices. Situation similar to Amy Winehouse's death occurred two weeks ago, when the world awaited the debut of the final film in the Harry Potter saga - and the scammers used the issue in their attempts of fraud.

Security firm Sophos has detected attempts to scam you see in the picture below. The company's recommendation is that users do not click on links. As an addition, I suggest to report strange applications that are spread by chance.

Messages promise hours with the latest videos of Amy Winehouse allegedly consuming crack before he died. Needless to say it's all lies. "Scammers are like vultures feeding on tragedies like the death of Amy Winehouse or the terrible events in Norway."
