Galaxy Tab 7.7 Comes with Android 3.2 and AMOLED Super Plus

While not trying to create new product categories, Samsung bet on gadgets launched in the areas that have consolidated the market. And in terms of the tablets Korean manufacturer seems to think there is room for a gadget little larger than 7 inches but less than 8.9 whereas today at IFA 2011, the company officially announced the Galaxy Tab 7.7.


The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is the first to come with a tablet screen AMOLED Super Plus, the same used in the Samsung S Galaxy II, but with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. In addition, the new gadget runs Android 3.2, comes with a 1.4 GHz processor (the same note Galaxy), rear 3-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, front camera of 2 megapixels and the trio of Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi and A-GPS.

To sustain a screen and powerful processor, Samsung has put a 5100 mAh battery in an animal, that should do the trick, but we will only know for sure with the device in hand. It will be sold in versions 16, 32 and 64 GB, but still no price set. Moreover, it is the same cake recipe that Samsung already following in their tablets with Honeycomb: UX TouchWiz interface, custom applications and support multiple video codecs.

Like any manufacturer of gadgets, the Korean also says that he is the thinnest and lightest on the market, but we know that this kind of statement does not last long been true. An exact date for sales and markets in which it will be available has not been defined.
