Ads coming to Twitter‎

When first Announced That It would have advertisements on the timeline, the Twitter  ensured They would be relevant, it would be Possible to Make Them Appear disappear. Now, According to sources at the All Things Digital site, this initial plan has gone through some changes.

According to the site, Twitter started to negotiate with advertising agencies a new model Promoted Tweets, one beside the Described last month. In the new model brands interested in advertising Can view tweets even for users who's not follow the network. Unlike the initial model and, would not be Possible to remove the ad.

It is not clear how the choice would be That users would see the advertisements, but According to the All Things D, They would be displayed to people who post on Twitter or things similar to what the brand is advertising. I Understand That a sponsored tweet McDonald's, for example, would Appear to network members who Publishes widely on hamburger or fries. The algorithm used to determine similar to this Should Be The Same session that displays the "Similar to You" in the sidebar.

Tests with this type of ad, According to Twitter, will begin in late September and is expected to Affect (at least at first) only a small portion of users. They will for now only be shown in the web service.
