Sony launches new Xperia in Brazil

Announced in mid-February, the latest Android devices from Sony were launched today in Brazil. Following a naming scheme most mundane, the Xperia U, S and P coming into the country to fill the markets for low, mid and high end, respectively, and are part of what Sony is calling for NXT Series.

The Xperia U is the least powerful of all, but have good specifications. With 3.5-inch screen and 800 x 480 pixel resolution, the device also comes with a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 5 megapixel camera and 8GB of internal storage. It goes on sale in June for U.S. $ 899.00.


Since the Xperia P is the mid-end, with a 4 inch screen with 960 x 540 pixels, 1 GHz dual-core, 8-megapixel camera and 16GB of internal storage. He arrives in July with a suggested price of $ 1,399.00.

Last but not least, the Xperia S arrives to compete with the top of the market and it certainly tries. With 4.3-inch screen and 1280 x 720 pixels, this device has a processor of 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 12.1 megapixel camera and 32GB of internal storage. It will be released in June for U.S. $ 1,799.00.

All appliances come with Android 2.3, but it has the Android 4.0 update for the company confirmed. They are on display at the press conference, so expect new posts soon with our first impressions in hand with these appliances.
