Those responsible for attacking the network of Sony PSN games not only took the network down for almost a month but also gained access to data from several of its members. This caused a huge problem for Sony, who promptly did what was possible to find out who was behind the attacks. Who, however, ended up finding at least some of its members was the Spanish police.
The information was published in the Twitter account of the Spanish police force, who said he managed to find and arrest three members of the group Anonymous. They were screened by one of the police called BIT, Brigada de Investigación Technological after he planned and carried out a DDoS attack on May 18 at the site of the Central Electoral Juncta, the site of the police and many others in Europe.
The police also said they are senior members of the group, able to set targets and coordinate attacks and that they were not only responsible for the attack on the PSN as well as the sites of governments around the world.
