The 3.9-inch AMOLED display and a resolution of 854 x 480 pixel touchscreen is basically everything that you will use. The N9 has no physical buttons except the inevitable volume control and a dedicated camera. All MeeGo interface is available through multitouch, including support for zoom-shaped clamp to open gestures and events, applications, or return to the home screen.

The operating system comes with Ovi Shop for applications and was presented with OpenGL ES 2.0 support, which ensured the presence of popular games like Angry Birds Magic, Galaxy on Fire 2 and Real Golf 2011. There are also reports unified support for Facebook, Twitter and RSS feeds. Among the apps are deployed by Nokia Foursquare, Skype and Vimeo, but the company hopes that with the release of the software development kit (SDK, its acronym in English), a larger base is installed.
