Lenovo launches notebook with AMD's APU technology


 Earlier this month, Lenovo announced here in Brazil the arrival of G-series notebook, the G475. He is one of the first laptops to arrive in the country that rely on technology to APU from AMD.


For those who still do not know, the APU is a new type of processor developed by AMD, on the same chip that combines a graphics processor and a conventional processor. Everyone knows that a GPU has a performance far superior to a CPU, because it has more processing cores and higher clock. Putting the two together, we have a central processing unit super powerful, cost and power consumption reduced.

The G475's operating system is Windows 7 Home Basic 64-bit and it comes equipped with at least 4GB of RAM can be expanded up to 8GB.

Among other specifications, the device has an LED display of 14 inches and resolutions up to 1366 x 768 pixels, battery life of up to 5 hours, memory card reader with support for 5 formats and CD player and DVD and Bluetooth. In addition, it also has an integrated webcam that can be used to log into Windows, using the facial recognition feature of Windows 7.
