BlackBerry playbook will be sold in 16 new countries next month

Research in Motion continues its expansion plan of its  tablet, BlackBerry playbook. A pity that Brazil is not in those plans, once again being ignored by the company. In any case, RIM announced today (10/06) it will start selling its new tablet in 16 countries over the next 30 days.

Specific dates for each country to receive the tablet were not specified. This is explained by the fact that the company offer greater freedom of operators and authorized dealers establish their release dates, according to the regional sales strategy, and following RIM's own interests.

Countries that will receive the BlackBerry sales playbook that stage are: UK, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Australia, Venezuela, Spain, Germany, UAE, Singapore, Mexico, France, Italy, India, Indonesia and Colombia .

Prices in each country were not disclosed, but should be announced as the date for the launch in each country is approaching. For now, there is no anticipation of the arrival of the tablet to Brazil. And this second phase launch of the playbook comes at a particularly sensitive time for the Research In Motion, once the product has received severe criticism of some of its functionality, and mainly for its reliability.

Some units of the playbook has undergone a process of recall in the United States, and many users complain about the lack of a server e-mail and calendar natives, as well as a standalone service, BlackBerry Messenger, forcing the user to pair the tablet with a BlackBerry phone .
