Sony Ericsson announces Xperia Ray With Android 2.3


Today Sony Ericsson announced new models in its line of Xperia phones during the fair electronics ComunicAsia 2011. One is the Xperia Ray, who's going to be sold with the latest version of Android, 2.3 (Gingerbread). Ray seems to be a model that was very focused on design, because despite being very similar to the models of the new Xperia X10, it will be sold in a golden version.


Like most new Xperia, Ray eliminates the search button and home button makes the central and physical, rather than touch. Its technical specifications include a 3.3 inch screen with 854 x 480 pixel resolution, 1 GHz processor, 8.1 megapixel camera with flash and the ability to shoot in HD and front camera for video calls.

Moreover, its screen is scratch-resistant mineral glass and it has the familiar wave of connectivity an Android Xperia line: aGPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and DLNA In terms of storage capacity, it comes with 300MB internal , a MicroSD memory card with support for 4 GB and 32 GB cards.

The company has not announced what the suggested price, but said he will go on sale in the third quarter of the year, starting in the Japanese market. The Xperia Ray will be sold in white, black, gold and pink.
