Adobe releases Flash Update Builder

In the eternal fight against Apple's Flash, developers were always the burden of having to adapt to each platform in the same time to create applications. At least so far, since Adobe released this Monday (20) an update to Flash Builder that allows you to program with the same code for applications iOS operating systems, Android and BlackBerry (Playbook for the tablet).

With FB, the developer can create an application from scratch and just choose which platform will be exported to the creation (of course there is the possibility of going for three in the same way). There are even templates (a sort of pre-designed templates) to create an Adobe program even easier and faster.

Within the program there are also settings easy to select the permissions for each platform, including the restrictions of Apple to sign an application in the App Store. You can even pre-determine whether the program will be limited to devices on the same operating system (for example, will be universal or exclusive iPad or iPhone / iPod touch).

Once complete, you must select the certificates, passwords and file for publication in the provisioning platforms, but nothing complicated for developers who are already familiar with the process. On the promotional video from Adobe, everything works fine on all operating systems, but in an example application is already created with Flash Builder, Conquer (for iPad), user comments on the App Store is that it is something slow and poorly finished.

The question is: is that Apple will put restrictions on the tool? The company released in September to create applications with third-party resources, including Adobe, after a controversial decision from Steve Jobs to restrict third-party solutions for applications in the App Store. But would not be surprising that performance or alleged breaches of guidelines designed to prevent products with FB. Let's hope all goes well.
