Chinese Phones fake electrocute and kill 25 years man

While counterfeit items may be cheaper alternatives to products legitimate, legally manufactured and marketed, quality always fall short. In China this kind of product is called shanzhai. And if you needed a reason not to buy such products, here's a story that might make you think twice: an Indian 25 years was electrocuted because of a fake phone.

Dhanji Damore, a resident of the province of Panchmahal in the district of Gujarat in India, suffered an electric shock while trying to make a connection to the phone while he was carrying. He was taken to hospital in a hurry for his friends, but on arrival the doctors declared dead by electrocuting. This is not the first accident of the kind that happens in India: in 2010 a woman died electrocuted while trying to talk on the phone with a fake phone.

So this is a warning to those who think that buying a unit falsetto, as imitation iPhones and Nokias that we see around the streets of Brazil, will not bring any problem in the future. He may be cheap at the time of purchase, but can cost you dearly in the future.
