Windows 7 will cost $72 for Internet cafes

Microsoft on Tuesday announced the launch of a new program that confirms the company's efforts for the democratization of information. In partnership with CDI LAN, the software giant will take his original software for Internet cafes across the country, and quite a price in mind.

Through the Digital Club Program Microsoft, Microsoft will offer the latest versions of Windows and Office for owners of Internet cafes in a very different value. As in Brazil there are 107 000 such establishments, which are used by 32 million people (according to research by CGI BR last year), the range can be huge.

A single license of Windows 7 Professional will cost $ 72 for Internet cafes, according to estimates by IDC LAN. The value can be parceled up to 10 times from $ 7.20. Since Office 2010 has an estimated retail price of $ 38 per license, also entitled to payment in installments of 10 times from $ 3.80.

Windows 7: only $ 72 for Internet cafes
It is worth noting that the products will be complete. For Windows 7 Professional, the owner of the lan-house shall be entitled to all updates that have already been launched and are still - even for a security issue. Already have Office 2010 Professional Word, Excel and PowerPoint, among others, with all features working properly, and updates.

Besides the applications, the Internet cafes will receive specific benefits, such as exclusive content and technical and commercial support. Microsoft, in partnership with CDI LAN, wants to promote events with persons responsible for establishment.

Itaú Bank also entered the wheel and will offer easy credit for those who want to buy the software, with reduced rates (according to the bank, it is clear) and special conditions of service through Microcredit.
