Sony estimates a loss of $ 3.2 billion

A year is nothing, but really hard for one of the largest technology manufacturers in the world. Sony has reviewed all its earnings expectations for fiscal 2010, which was finalized on March 31 and expects to suffer $ 3.2 billion net loss due to writedown of tax credits.

In another interpretation, the disasters that hit Japanese territory at the beginning of March have caused immense damage to the structure of Sony. Even the development and delivery of digital cameras for the new iPhones and iPads Apple's suffered all the problems caused by the earthquake and tsunami. Incidentally, this would, indeed, a possible reason for the delay in the launch of the new gadgets of Steve Jobs.

To add to that account deficit from Sony, we can not forget no way an invasion of the PlayStation Network, which reached about 77 million users worldwide, bringing the financial loss of $ 170 million for the Japanese giant.

These problems threw open the window of difficulties that the company is spending on the market, losing space to other companies such as Samsung and Apple itself, direct competitors in the smartphone and notebook computers.
The fact is that, if confirmed this loss of $ 3.2 billion, this is the worst result of the company since 1995, considered the least profitable and the biggest headache for Sony in the history of the company. The official announcement will be in deficit today, May 26.

Yahoo Mail gets update

Yahoo has announced that its email service (Yahoo Mail) received some updates, in my view, serve as an excellent seasoning for making the world "inbox" even more competitive.

Is that in its newest version, which is available in Beta - but in a few weeks will be launched in the market for definitive - the sharing functions are much easier and more fun. Now, Yahoo email account integration with Twitter, Facebook and Yahoo Groups, so that you only use one interface to perform all of its ordinary shares in a more simple and quiet.

Besides this novelty, the mailbox can now be customized, making your box is to your face! Pretty cool, huh? However, it is one of the news announced so late because the Gmail already has this type of action for over a year.

Another new feature: users can view straight from your mailbox photo slideshows and online videos! Same features that were missing from Yahoo's mail service, which was outdated and its larger rival - which, incidentally, is the greatest enemy of all mail services - Gmail.

Apparently, the future of the Internet will be summarized in a single interface, it will be able to group all the features that most users use. This will give more convenience to common services.

Rumors Next iPhone may have 8-megapixel camera

This time, the Japanese site Macotakara said on Monday (30) that the company Steve Jobs is preparing the fifth iPhone (or iPhone 4S) to arrive in late July or early August with 8-megapixel camera and without the need of SIM card to access the mobile network.

Yes, the Japanese portal specializing in Apple contradicts other recent rumors claiming that the fifth version of the device will be called iPhone 4S, an analogy to the 3G model that showed little change from its predecessor, with only a slight upgrade of internal components. Still, it is worth remembering that the iPad 2 obtained the exact same type of update, but it bears the name of the successor to the official numbers of the first tablet.

Anyway, the next iPhone, according to Macotakara, will include a processor based on ARM Cortex-A9, but had not yet been clarified whether it would be dual-core 2 as the iPad, or with only one core as the current version of smartphone. If the previous actions indicate something Apple is likely to be rather the same chip of the tablet.

The rumor also says that the device will have a system that does not require SIM cards, although other rumors assert that there would be a model even smaller than the iPhone MicroSim 4. He will also have three or four internal antennas to allow the sale of the same hardware anywhere in the world, working with both GSM and CDMA - ie, allowing use with U.S. wireless operators T-Mobile, AT & T, Verizon and Sprint without the need for adjustments.

Since the improvement in the camera is to be expected, since there is a need to at least match the product over the competition - the Samsung S2 Galaxy also has 8 megapixels, plus the ability to record movies in Full HD (1080p).

Taking advantage of this is likely to leave Apple iPhone compatible 5 with the maximum resolution on TVs via HDMI already marketed for iPad (currently it can only display images at 720p on the iPhone 4).

As if all the rumors were not enough, many of them conflicting, the Macotakara yet ventured to talk about the iPhone in June. According to Japanese website, the next "important new handset will arrive in the spring of 2012, equivalent to the fall in Brazil. The machine count on technology to bring Sharp LCDs polysilicon for a thinner, lighter design. Again, it is good to notice: nothing more than rumors, though the source had hit "predictions" about the beginning of the iPad 2 years.

Acer W4: Specifications of this smartphone with Windows Phone 7 Mango

Microsoft continues to invest heavily in WP7 and recently launched the Mango, the first major upgrade to the system.

But that success is achieved, the software giant needs the support of major handset manufacturers. Fujitsu, ZTE and Nokia smartphones are expected to produce a new version of WP7 soon, but that was the Acer went ahead and announced the first smartphone that comes with Windows 7 Phone Mango.

Airline adopts iPad in place of flight manuals

Already college students studying  through iPad. it put the whole college textbooks on the tablet for students to carry less weight. But this is the first time I hear of an airline that swaps the heavy flight manual for the Apple laptop.

Alaska Airlines, which operates since 1932 and has a fleet of over one hundred aircraft, announced it will start in mid-June by the exchange of textbooks iPads. Technically speaking, get a pile of paper weighing up to 11 pounds, to give time to the tiny tablet, whose weight is around 600 grams. Much less!

Pilots have access to all flight documents through the application GoodReader, which will come installed on all devices (in the App Store, priced at $ 4.99). It is a document reader with the right to add notes, highlight important parts of the text, and more.

Do not think, however, that the documents were simply exported to PDF. Alaska Airlines had to add color and graphics to manuals, and create links. So yes, the drivers can make the best of the iPad while in flight.

Alaska Airlines said it will not only block the installation of new applications. After all, a flight in which the autopilot does most everything, would not be surprising that the commander tablet to resort to something more interesting than flight manuals. Angry Birds, maybe. Flight Control Or, another good option.

Twitter Follow button launches to compete with Facebook

From some time now Facebook allows site owners to include in   pages like button. Today, to compete with Mark Zuckerberg's social network, Twitter has released a follow button to be implemented by all web pages. The owners of sites that implement the feature will allow users to follow a specific account directly from the page where you are, without opening a twitter.

The code to implement the buttons can be copied here. So far there are few options: the network user can choose between a black or white to show or not the counter of followers in the network. You can also choose a language for the button, but Portuguese is not one of them.

Until now the only button that Twitter had released was the tweet button, which allows the publication of a tweet on the page accessed directly from it.

Windows Phone 7 reaches 20 thousand apps

When Windows Phone 7 "Mango" was shown last week, Microsoft said that there were 18 000 applications for the system. Seven days later, the WP7 celebrate the important milestone of 20 thousand apps available for immediate download from users. Steve Ballmer smiles, all celebrate.

However, the Neowin shows that the situation is not as beautiful as you paint for us. The growth in number of apps has been done at the expense of the quality of the applications in Microsoft's mobile shop. They found a number of apps that are essentially the same thing, but are listed individually in the Marketplace, which alone inflates the numbers for the WP7.

Microsoft's efforts to attract more developers to the Windows phone so far have been very valid. The company just can not be influenced negatively by such ideas, to replicate applications several times, only to leave the number of apps Marketplace greater.

Although the reviewers of Apple apps are sometimes considered tyrants, they follow a minimum standard of quality consistent with the purpose of the App Store. Microsoft will have to follow a similar path if you want to draw the attention of users. Thousands of apps that do exactly the same thing is not a business card of the most beautiful.

Speaking of the App Store, Apple's store took nearly ten months to reach 20 thousand apps available for download.

VoIP breaks record for use in the U.S.

Data from a survey organized by the company show that the Pew Internet telephony services on the web are already part of everyday life for most Americans. The figures show that currently 24% of seafarers - equivalent to 19% of all U.S. adult population - are users of VoIP services, and that 5% of U.S. residents make connections from the system every day.

In the latest survey by the Pew type, as far back as 2007, only 8% of Internet users - or 6% of the U.S. adult population - were adept at voice over IP services like Skype and the like. The figures show that the service has conquered especially among people with higher income and education who live in urban areas. Also they have the accession of 27% of Hispanics, compared with 21% popularity with between whites and blacks.

Among the reasons that make the system be so popular, few surprises: the majority of respondents claimed that they are "cheaper", "enhance the integration between various devices (like computers, smartphones and tablets), " easier for videoconferences and that "more friends and family are using similar services. "

Apple confirms: Steve Jobs will introduce iOS 5, Lion and iCloud during WWDC

For that none of us expected. Apple just shoot a statement to media outlets around the world in which it confirms: Steve Jobs will once again responsible for the opening keynote of its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which happens next week. This is possibly the first time the company announced before the apple that will present an event.

Steve Jobs, once again presenting the news from Apple
Below is the list of innovations that will be presented during the opening of WWDC:

IOS 5: "the next version of the advanced mobile operating system from Apple;
Lion: "the eighth major release of Mac OS X;
iCloud: "the provision of services in the cloud coming from Apple. "
Traditionally, the WWDC is the event chosen by Apple to introduce their new products. The curious thing is to think that, weeks before the conference to take place at Moscone Center in San Francisco, specialized vehicles publish several rumors about what could possibly be announced. This time, Apple itself has anticipated everything we expect from WWDC.

Apple promises more than 100 technical sessions for application developers who use Apple's technology, given by the company's own engineers. Developers of software for Mac OS will ask questions about the new features of the Lion, for example. The same goes for apps developers on the technologies of the future IOS 5 (this is the first time publicly that Apple uses that name).

The statement, however, makes no mention of a future version of the iPhone. It seems that WWDC will focus solely on software. Seems.

Internet TV gains popularity in China

Although television is still the number one entertainment of Chinese families, a survey shows that times may be changing rapidly in the country of the Great Wall. According to data from market research firm CTR China (link translated into Portuguese), between the years 2009 and 2010 if the time spent watching TV fell 42.5% in the country, while the time spent surfing the Internet grew 44 8%.

TV is a thing of the past ...
The figures show that last year 72.8% of Chinese watched television all day, while 62.8% were connected to the network and 42.1% read newspapers. Despite their increased popularity, the Chinese on average spent 133 minutes in front of televisions, while they spent on average 155 surfing the net.

One of the reasons that explain the growth of the network in the country is offering a vast amount of programming for local TV channels on the Internet, with particular attention to some novels and transmission of the ceremonies of New Year and Spring Festival.

"The results show that respondents between 15 and 34 years are choosing to watch TV in the network, and this behavior can also be seen in the consumption of other content, " says the report. "The merger is an inevitable trend in media development. Different media outlets rely on each other and adapt to consumer tastes, "closes.

This is the first time that iWork comes to iPhone and iPod Touch. The apps were already on a mobile version, but only for IOS iPad. According to Schiller, Retinal Display technology to be a differential display-quality documents on the laptop screen.

So the company said on the subject, the three applications are fully functional. In other words, are not only view documents but also to create them, as if the consumer was in the home computer. Probably has all the limitations of a display smaller than the minimum 13-inch MacBook one has, but should still be a good choice for anyone who relies on this type of documents.

Notebook 9 Series from Samsung arrives in Brazil for $ 5000

The first time the ultra-light notebook Samsung's Series 9 made an appearance in South America was in the Samsung Forum 2011, in which the company introduced several products that arrive in the countries of the continent. At the time we did not know when it would arrive or what its price, but its razor thin design anything was already finalized. Today Samsung announced that it arrives in Brazil on Nov. 3.

He will be sold with different specifications, but they said that as a reference to the simplest configuration, it takes an Intel Core i5 second generation, 4GB memory, 128GB SSD, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, will leave for $ 5,000.00. For while the versions with 11.6-inch screen and Intel Core i3 will not be available in Brazil, but should arrive soon.

The second detail is the optical drive on the Series 9. If you've seen the pictures of him will be asking "What optical drive? There is no room for him there. " For this reason Samsung decided to sell the laptop with a drive of this type apart. It is included in the price, but comes out of the box. The drive follows the same style of brushed aluminum finish of the notebook and reads and writes DVDs and CDs

Still on the notebook, Samsung has increased by 0.7 times the battery life since the last time we heard it. Now it lasts 7.7 hours, depending on the configuration of power savings. Know if this is true or not soon as we receive the unit for review.

Opera is another browser to sync logins and passwords

The next version of Opera will include additional features for users who like to have the same browsing experience on multiple machines and even different devices. Opera Link, according to the organization, will win the synchronization of users and passwords. Gone are the story of getting decorating passwords, then.

To that end, Opera Software had to review internal security procedures. In addition, all web login systems company adopted the use of HTTPS, which makes authentication more secure, since data travels over the network completely scrambled (or encrypted, to the more technical staff).

Next Opera, the browser version for the brave, received the password synchronization, which relies on technology Opera Link (from the existing version 9.5 browser).

The first time you save your logins and passwords, an authentication key is generated on the user's machine to encrypt the contents of the data transmitted with that information. This same key is sent to Opera's servers, but assured by the private password of the account in Opera. It is from these security requirements that Opera Software ensures that no intruder will gain access to accurate logins and passwords of its users.

Opera Link synchronization of logins and passwords, available from the Opera 11:50
Interested in testing the manager logins and passwords from the Opera should download the latest version of Next, which reflects much of what is expected for the next version of the browser, Opera 11:50.

For my part, say the password sync feature is virtually indispensable in my daily use of the Internet. The difference is that I did not call for synchronizing with Opera Link, but the proper tool for this Google Chrome. If I'm not mistaken, Firefox also offers the same feature, under the baton of Firefox Sync.

BlueStacks, to run Android Apps on Windows

At least that's what it promises the company that developed the program BlueStacks, a system that will make it possible to run Android applications directly on computers running Windows, and it seems natively.

The program, which is still in an alpha release, will enable anyone who owns a computer or other devices with x86 Windows installed can download and run programs from Android, so almost transparent to the user.

In the words of Rosen Sharma, CEO of BlueStacks (free translation):

Our vision is of a completely new kind of experience, which supports consumer interest in Android and also allows them to access some of the most valuable applications, enabling them to use their favorite device for work and play.

Things that just make a free license for you ...
Scheduled to have a final version of the end of next year, BlueStacks work on any computer, notebook, tablet or netbook running Windows x86 architecture, and function normally with both devices with support for touch, and through other input devices, such as keyboard and mouse.

And what is the advantage of running Windows apps from Android? Well, if you already have an Android phone and like a particular app, you can install a copy on your Windows and use it from there. Moreover, depending on your taste, you could even have a Windows installation without any native program installed, only the Android apps. Developers can also benefit from this news, since now they will have a much larger amount of users buying their apps.

As the program is still in alpha version, it is really difficult to say whether he will be able to accomplish everything it promises, even without loss of performance. But if you like and want to know more (or even if you want to test the program), visit the BlueStacks.

Google deletes many emulators from Android Market

And with little fanfare, Google started deleting applications considered irregular in its Android Market, an environment that until now was known to have far less rigid rules that the App Store, which his rival Apple's willingness to IOS.

According to the blog Engadget, the programs are being deleted without notice by the web giant, which also breaks are canceling the accounts of developers.

N64oid Android: RIP
The first programs to be mined from the app store's operating system were the little robot N64oid emulators, Ataroid, and Gamboid Snesoid, which were sold in the shop for prices between $ 1.99 and $ 5.99 in addition to PSX4Droid, offered for free. Responsible for running games on the Nintendo N64, Atari, Game Boy, SNES and Playstation 1, technically trial programs also wounded a number of copyright and so were asked to leave the environment.

How to remember the site The Register, in theory developers kicked the Android Market can offer its programs at other stores for Android, as SlideME obscure, but without the same security in payment and information security.

Speaking of Android Market, a research made by the company Dysthymia show that 97% of downloaded programs in the store in April were free, as against 95% recorded in March and that only 96 accounted for programinhas 50 million downloads.

Twitter lets you follow thousands with just one click

Twitter announced a new feature that meets in full the demand for Internet companies. Just as Facebook provides the button to enjoy certain pages and people, now Twitter allows users to track new kilos with just one click (or nearly so, since it is necessary to confirm the addition of a pop-up). According to the company, this is a new way to discover and follow accounts of the sites that users access daily.

More than 50 major U.S. sites have implemented the button for the big launch, which has been called (oh!) Follow Button. Also, any user with basic knowledge of HTML can use the tutorial very well placed in the air by the company to implement the feature in your site. It should not take more than a few minutes for the Follow Button works correctly.

With this, Twitter replies one more feature that Facebook provides a long time. Giving the user a chance to follow other arroba with just one click, Twitter makes it much easier this interaction between the two parties. It is needless to load the page on Twitter for the at sign, then only, click Follow and actually follow the person (or company).

WHO says that even cell phones cause cancer

If you're on the latest news of technology, probably have read today in some sites (probably many people will read it tomorrow in the headlines of newspapers) alarmist texts mentioning that the WHO has confirmed that cell phones cause cancer. The World Health Organization, an organization respected personality in the area, released a report today that it has generated such reports. But the report says nothing that you do not already know for some time.

The IARC, which is the arm of the organization responsible for researching cancer, did a study that involved 31 scientists from 14 countries. They analyzed a large amount of data and research done so far. Look, they made no new study or anything, just gave the findings of hundreds of others. With this, the group came to the conclusion that it is possible that a type of brain cancer is linked to radiation from mobile phones. And this caused the headlines that you see scattered sites around the country.

But what the vehicles probably will forget to mention newspapers is that the WHO also says that this is only a theory and that for it to be proven with certainty, studies are needed longer and more detailed the effects of radiation from mobile phones. Something that everybody already knows that since the fear of an increased occurrence of cancer in cellphone users has emerged.

One of the researchers at IARC also repeats what we've heard ever since, just in case it is good to take precautions and shorten time to talk with the phone next to ear, as when using Bluetooth headsets or send text messages.

So until such long-term studies are completed, we will try to remain calm.

This guy stole a MacBook (and is being watched by the owner)

Sad to resort to an application to find out where his computer equipment was stolen after being stopped by a robber. An American designer has launched a Tumblr specifically to publicize the activities of the villain has the MacBook while it was stolen on March 21.

Joshua Kaufman said the laptop was stolen from his apartment in Oakland, California. He even went to the police, but officials say they have no resources to go after the bandit. In desperation, he appealed to the Hidden application, available for Mac, which monitors the unauthorized activity on your computer. Also, does the hidden pictures of who is using the machine with the Mac iSight present throughout

iSight shooting suspect of having stolen MacBook
This Guy Has The My MacBook (This guy is with my MacBook, in free translation) was the way found by the owner of the device to show the world that has a thief rifling through your stuff. According to Kaufman, the bandit tried to delete his account on the MacBook, probably to install everything again and pretend that your machine is.

Human delete profile on stolen MacBook
If you find someone with that guy on the street, can advise the Joshua Kaufman via Twitter: @ JMK. Good luck to him in the quest for so beloved MacBook.

Hidden
Hidden is the name of the application used by Kaufman to monitor the activities of the bandit. After signing the service, which costs $ 15 annually with the right to monitor a machine, the user hears everything that is done with the computer from the moment it is marked as "stolen" from the site. Of course, for this is that the equipment needed to continue connecting to the internet.

The application makes screenshots of the Mac and also photographs the person using the machine with the iSight. In some cases, also gives information on geographical location, similar to the Find My iPhone that Apple offers for their customers.

Skype Me! Learn the latest Skype 5

Skype is an application that serves very well its main function: to enable two people talking to each other with voice through the computer. it uses the VoIP (Voice over IP, or Voice over IP), which causes a person's speech is converted into data to flow through the world wide web to get to the party again in the form of use voz.Para all features, click on download Skype and ready, you can connect with the world.

One of the advantages of using VoIP is that there is no cost for this type of action, nor does it costs nothing to send e-mails. If the person has an Internet connection and a microphone, is already able to use the free application. Just add your friends, choose the status Skype Me, to show what is available, and begin the chat. There is also no time limitation of use: you will be able to talk with friends who also have Skype account indefinitely, depending only on the subject you have to put in day.

But Skype is not just free voice calls. Although this is the focus of the application, it can also be used to send text messages conventional (as in Live Messenger). Features are the same, however Skype emoticons has even more enjoyable to use than those that Microsoft competitor offers. Text chats are not limited to two people, because the program allows up to 100 participants are in the same chat room at once.

VoIP solution starts to become attractive even to companies that previously relied on contracts with mobile operators to reduce costs. Therein lies another advantage of Skype, since it can be used even in corporate networks with firewalls. And the content of the conversation is completely safe, and can not be tracked by others because it uses a strong encryption scheme. The data traveling over a P2P network Skype itself, which is used for this purpose only.

Skype 5

Already joined the new version of Skype. Users can check out some news, especially for those who like to chat with multiple users simultaneously. The appearance of the communicator has also changed, becoming more elaborate than the previous versions.

Now you can chat with up to 10 contacts at once via text, voice and video. That's right! The new 5 brings Skype video conferencing tool, which allows the user to communicate via video with a group of up to 10 people. Who has ever liked to communicate with multiple friends at once, now you can do so as if live.

Integration with Facebook

The biggest news of Skype 5 is its integration with the social network Facebook. After login to your account via the "Facebook Connect", you will be able to see the Facebook News Feed in Skype interface as well as status updates that can be synchronized with his message of humor and comments on Skype and updates from friends and messages on the Facebook wall.

In terms of real integration of a messenger, you can now send SMS to mobile from your Facebook friends from the Skype 5. You can also make a free Skype to Skype is your friend on Facebook is in your Skype contacts.

Detector hardware

Machines with Windows installed usually vary greatly in specifications. To avoid any problems when using Skype, the company responsible for it opted to include a powerful application that detects the machine settings. It is through this application that Skype know the details about the computer's audio system and microphone is also connected to the PC. Skype's own offerings will provide microphones and handsets to purchase if no microphone is detected.

Video Chat

The same application will look for hardware detection by video cameras and webcams installed on the PC. No, you read that correctly: Skype Video also allows the transmission of live images. Talking to one relative who lives in another country through Skype already great with only the voice service, but video is even better.

The quality of audio and video that the application will send and receive will depend on the speed of internet connection. But, in general, Skype video works great with both audio and audio and video, broadband connections from 600 kbps. The higher the rate of downstream and upstream of the internet, the better the Skype service.

Whereas a user with a connection Mega, streaming video is high quality. In addition, Skype allows video full-screen mode, in which the video of the person you're talking about appears completely occupying the monitor, giving the impression that you're talking face to face with that contact. The video will be able to have up to 30 frames per second (fps), same quality cameras used in television stations. This functionality, however, will depend on the characteristics of the webcam.

User Friendly Interface

The new version of Skype opens a different philosophy of creating interfaces. Now the names of contacts and call information are ongoing in the same window, in separate columns. You can separate the two, but that arrangement makes use of the application more dynamic, since all options are displayed in one place.

Start a conversation with a contact is extremely easy. Once it is online, with a few clicks you get to the Connect icon that launches the voice call. In addition, a box at the bottom of the program lets you send text to the person. Even the file-sharing is permitted in the Skype network.

Another feature are the buttons that allow users to know your Skype status. Skype Me shows that you are available for a chat.

Conferences

One of the most interesting features of the program are the conferences. Instead of talking to each component of a project separately, you can start a conference and talk with them all at once. Again the service is completely free. But beware: the more contacts to participate in a conference, most of Skype will require an Internet connection.

Calls to landlines and mobiles

The Skype user has at his disposal the paid service calls to conventional phones. With it you can call phones anywhere in the world, provided there is sufficient credit. The advantage is that usually the cost per minute of a call on Skype is much lower than that charged by phone operators. Part of this cost reduction is due to travel on part of the conversation through the internet and in part through the voice network that meets the normal landline or mobile phone for which you are calling.

The credits for this type of call are offered on the site of Skype. There are several ways: from pre-paid, in which the user pays before using, until the monthly subscription, at a value which is billed monthly for usage.

In terms of Skype's paid you will even be able to send SMS text messages to your contacts without leaving the program interface. It is much more comfortable typing text on the computer keyboard, mini keyboard instead of a tiny cell phone.

Finding Friends

Users of Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express and Yahoo Mail can enter their data on Skype in order to search for friends who are also registered with the service. Once they are found in the service, it becomes easier to import. If you do not have Skype account, then it's time to send an invitation recommending to download the program.

The numbers of fixed or mobile phone are present in Outlook can also be copied to Skype for a very simple way by assigning a number to a new contact or a contact already in your list.

Make now download Skype!

It can store independently, their message settings, music players and incoming and outgoing calls for up to five SIM cards, like five different users, without compromising battery life of the appliance. This feature provides an extra advantage for users that have multiple mobile lines for work and leisure, and do not want to waste time reconfiguring the phone to exchange for each chip.

Another feature of the Nokia X1-01 is its Dual-Standby mode, which allows the user to simply switch the SIM card which will be used for calls, messages and other functions. Alternatively, for the SIM card that is not in use, you receive notifications of calls and messages from that chip on the phone screen, without needing to change cards or off the unit.

Another highlight of the Nokia X1-01 is its musical ability. Nokia promises that model a very good sound performance, with the possibility of the user to store their music on an SD memory card. In addition, the phone has FM radio, headphone jack 3.5 mm and a flashlight (which is a sort of "trademark" of the input devices from Nokia.)

The price of the X1-Nokia 2001 in Europe is 34 euros, and the model will be launched by the end of June.

Sony VAIO EE23EB Review

More unsuspecting users can become confused when buying a Sony VAIO. After all, they have several models that have few differences. However, as in every contract, there's always that warns that "we should always read the fine print of the same." The same thing goes for many of the line Sony VAIO notebooks.

In some cases, the difference is not just a few dollars in price, but in small little letters of the name of the product. And in this case, the VAIO EE23EB has differences that can be decisive for those who need a device that relies on differential and it is relevant to your new tool. And differences that other models in the series and do not possess.

Screen
He has a 15.5 inch screen. The difference may seem small at first, but ends up being considerably when we use the product in practice: an area for further work, a larger area for videos and games, a roomier screen to display internet pages and screens of text editing or tables with greater comfort. Added to all this, you have a resolution that adjusts the screen so that everything is displayed clearly, where most users will be faced with large fonts and images very well defined. For those who need to work on details in images and video, a screen is more than comfortable.

Design and physical details
He carries on the tradition of the VAIO product line, with elegant and refined lines, which become more salient in its silver color, with white ice. His air of sobriety going down very well in office environments and in lighter shades, but at the same time taken off for who he is seeing for the first time. For its size a little larger, it is a little heavier than other models we've tested here, but we believe that this specific model is more meant to replace desktops, getting most of the time in one place.

Again (and this seems to be a trend of products in the Sony VAIO), there is a maldistribution of the USB ports on your notebook. In the specific case of EE23EB, he at least has a USB port on the opposite side of the DVD drive, leaving a more practical option for anyone who wants, for example, connect a data cable to your smartphone. I repeat: for those who want to use a mouse to work with greater agility, have a certain discomfort when opening the unit, if using a mousepad. Even if not for this detail, many doors are still concentrated in only a side product. This certainly will cause problems for anyone thinking of connecting more than one device on the notebook (depending on what type of device we're talking about).

Accessibility

One of the strengths of the line Sony VAIO is its keyboard, and if the model EE23EB, this detail is even better. Besides the format chiclet keys, and well spaced, making life easier for those who need to enter many texts during the day, he has a full numeric keypad apart, as in a traditional computer keyboard. And the best part: no need to increase to almost nothing the size of the notebook for the other models in the series E.

Remembering that this product has a 15.5 inch screen, this difference was small enough that Sony put this additional keyboard, bringing a most important item for those who need flexibility and productivity when typing.

In this model, we only have a key role as ASSIST quick shortcut. As is traditional in the VAIO models, the key triggers ASSIST funds for system maintenance, or for more mundane tasks of maintaining, or even for complete restoration of the equipment where the problem is more serious. The function is designed for those who do not want to waste time calling a technician, and want a solution so that almost immediately.

Functionality and performance
EE23EB VAIO notebook is one that makes the experience very pleasant to use, making it easier for desktop users to adapt, precisely because of its side keyboard. It's another Sony notebook that most users will not have many difficulties to get started so that the product is removed from the box, because the main programs for basic use of home users, business and educational purposes are pre-installed in the product simply by the user to install additional programs for specific purposes.

In terms of performance, this model has important differences in comparison to one of the models we tested previously VAIO (PCV-EA20FB). The first is your processor. The EE23EB has an AMD Athlon Dual-Core, 2.1 GHz, which already offers a great performance for processing and implementation of programs and system applications. But to ensure that the resulting product is even better, he has 4 GB of DDR3 RAM (which can be expandable to 8 GB), and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250, ie, a board dedicated specifically to perform all the visual part of the notebook at peak performance.

The result of this set of peripheral equipment results in a performance with a very round, with no case of crash or need to reboot after a long period of work. His performance is very good boot, and even heavier programs he ran with great stability.
Some users may say that with these settings, it could well be running a more complete version of Windows 7 than the version that Sony decided to put it (Windows 7 Home Basic). Moreover, in this case in particular, it runs so well the operating system from Microsoft, we can say the old adage of football "in a winning team, not moving."
Suggested price of the product: R $ 2,299.00.

First trailer of FIFA 12

Nearly a week after its rival Pro Evolution Soccer (distributed by Konami) released its first video, it was time for Electronic Arts to disclose the first official trailer for FIFA 12.

Although short, the video you can notice how much improved in FIFA 12 for the graphics, giving more details, in the garb of the players, and uniforms.

In entato, the main focus of the video is to show how the game promises to innovate in relation to physical contact between players. In divided we notice anything that EA was keen to stress that since the rumors began about the changes the new version: the possibility of a player is injured during a split, even that is not done on a fault.

FIFA 12 will be released later this year with releases confirmed for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

ASUS Padfone, an Android smartphone with a tablet that works as a dock

The Computex 2011 has begun from (05/30) in Taipei.  After distribution of a mysterious campaign on Facebook, showing a product that promised to "break the rules, ASUS officially announced the ASUS Padfone, which is a kind of hybrid between smartphone and tablet.

ASUS is thinking of a concept similar to that seen at Motorola Atrix, where a smartphone with an advanced hardware, which can complement the functions of other peripherals. In this case, instead of a lapdock, ASUS decides to enter the smartphone into a tablet using the Android phone interface to the tablet. In this particular case, the solution is quite appropriate since it uses version 3.1 (Ice Cream Sandwich), which is set for tablets and smartphones.

More information Padfone have not been revealed by ASUS, but we can see some product details in the images presented by the official manufacturer. The tablet has USB ports for data and recharging, and an HDMI port for playback of HD files. Conveniently, the tablet has a hole in the compartment where the smartphone is packed, so that the tablet uses the smartphone's camera (5 megapixels) to record photos and video.

You can also see the connectors for headphones and memory card slot on one side of the tablet. Full specifications of the smartphone and the tablet will be unveiled by ASUS yet, but you can see two videos that show how the product works, with their benefits and features.

Linux Kernel 3.0: Learn about the changes in the new version

After roughly 15 years in version 2.x, Linus Torvalds has finally announced that the Linux kernel to version 3.0 will have the next release. And what changes with this version change? According to Torvalds himself: "Nothing."

According to Torvalds, who made the announcement in the list of kernel developers, the decision to so drastically change the kernel version has much more to do with the celebration of 20 years of Linux than with new functions or rewriting code.

Torvalds also said that part of the change comes from your inability to count beyond 40, why anyone with more than 30 years will understand perfectly (the current version is version 2.6.39, and as we see in the timeline above, hardly the kernel passes this numbering).

Obviously, many can expect major changes from this new kernel numbers, but the truth is that version 3.0 of Linux will be a launch without any drastic change. Do not expect something as seen in GNOME KDE 3 or 4, is not this what Linus wants at the moment.

Any bug fixes will be there, some updates on the drivers too, but that's it. Do not expect changes in the API, do not expect new features, do not expect a long list of changes in the source code that may end up breaking other programs that make use of the kernel. At the time, Torvalds is just really want to leave for a new version of Linux. And avoid the hundreds of problems that occur when a project is launching a new version ".0", with bugs, compatibility issues, and the like.

For now, the Linux kernel version 3.0 is in RC1, and source code can be downloaded from kernel.org. We remind everyone that although versions RC (release candidate) are very close to the final version, you should avoid using these in production environments. And if you have no idea how to begin to compile a source code, it might be better to wait for your favorite distro release the package is already compiled.

Twitter is preparing to publish similar pictures to Twitpic

The Twitpic to be careful. If the information obtained by us is correct (usually are), Twitter will launch a service for posting pictures very soon. Tomorrow, says the editor of the journal, Alexia Tsotsi, if the predictions of their sources when they meet.

The Twitter entry on the likes of image services would not be a surprise, so to speak. There are people who use the microblogging essentially for that. The opposite is true with the videos, which are not so popular so even after the Twitpic released the publication of such content (albeit rather limited).

Techcrunch points out that Facebook is considered the largest photo service in volume in the world, as millions and millions are posted daily there. Twitter could very well bite of that traffic, ensuring even more advertising (contextual?) pages of photos published through its service supposed images.

Money is something that, you see, does not lack for Twitter. Last week they bought the API for between U.S. $ 40 million and $ 50 million, with the imminent intention to launch an official client for Windows. Implement the current features of microblogging with the publication of images seems to be the next step towards world domination.

PS3 casemod is portable and cooled with water

One of the most famous modder Ben Heck is Internet, which specializes in modifying video games, past and present to other creative formats. And it inspired its disciples who are as creative as it.

What we see above is a portable version of the PlayStation 3, which was developed by a modder forum PSHax called Pirate. He relied on a project of Ben Heck to create your own version of PlayStation 3 in the form of laptop, with the advantage of incorporating a cooling system components with water.

The model has a physical keyboard and built-in speakers, a 500 GB hard drive and screen with maximum resolution of 1080i. He appears to be a relatively heavy, but its creator ensures that it can be transported in a simple manner, with an interesting alternative for those who want to play anywhere. Or for those who want a PlayStation 3 with a unique appearance.

Modder bet both in your project, you put that version of the PlayStation 3 in the form of notebook to be auctioned on eBay. Currently, the model is estimated at $ 1,500 and, according to the seller, it is not for profit with the sale. So much so, that promises to spend some money to expand the servers PSHax forum and elsewhere will be passed to help victims of the hurricane that devastated the city of Joplin, Missouri. Below, video demonstration of the product.

Google announces Gmail for People Widget

Gmail is an great email service  but there is always something to improve. Google knows this  and therefore today announced a new feature pro service, called People widget. She is a dynamic information box that sits on the right sidebar of the message and shows details about the person who sent it, as the latest posts, and other shared documents.

These characteristics are quite similar to the add-on for browsers called Rapportive, which originally appeared in 2010, and the add-on for Outlook called Xobni, which is basically the same thing. So similar that I do not doubt that may have served as inspiration for Google to create the People widget.

The People widget also includes a feature that is already active since 2007 but has yet to win the official client, Google Talk: group chats. With it you can talk to several people (Google does not say exactly how many) and possibly even talk to them on video.

As with all new features, Google does not push a button and it magically appears for all. The People widget will be activated gradually to all Gmail users over the next two weeks.

Update at 17:09 | Contrary to what we said before, the functionality of the chat group has existed since 2007, it will only be facilitated with the People widget. The text of the article was amended to reflect this information.

Twitter will let you read the timeline of the others

It seems that Twitter has chosen this week to launch several new features in which, probably, your engineers have spent months developing. After activating the notifications of favorites, and mentions retweets by email (and pestering some members of the network in the process), Twitter has announced a feature that will let users view the timeline (or history, in official translation ) of each other.

According to the official announcement of the new feature, it will allow a member "Tweets see the accounts that a user follows, and also the list of those accounts," which essentially is the timeline of a user. The novelty, however, should not allow members to read the Twitter tweets from people with protected accounts.

Or at least I hope not, but I bit my tongue before finding that Twitter would not enable receive notifications via email by default. He is already activated to some members of the network but do not yet know how to appear, only to be activated on the page Following users.

Taking into account that have not yet activated or even the latest they've announced, I'll kick it will take even longer to get into my account. And I have created my own in 2007.

Update at 17:28 | The new feature is enabled on the account of Tecnoblog. I illustrated this post with a screenshot of how it should work. And by the way the resource is not protected accounts shows tweets, which is a relief.

Skype cancels solution Skype for Asterisk

When Microsoft announced the purchase of Skype, many were worried that the company ceases to support the operating systems and platforms other than Windows. And unfortunately, it seems that is exactly what may be happening: in a statement, Digium announced that the Skype for Asterisk product is no longer available for sale or activation ...

"Here is Linus Torvalds, and if you're reading this, YOU are the resistance"
Although Microsoft representatives promise to provide and kneeling in the corn that the company would "continue to invest and support the Skype clients on platforms that are not controlled by the company" (as seen here), in practice seems to be another story. And the first victim appears to be the Skype for Asterisk, a solution that allowed to connect Asterisk to the Skype network, via a proprietary code assigned by Skype.

According to the official statement made by Digium, Skype decided not to renew the agreement allowing the use of proprietary code. Thus making it impossible to communicate between services. Thus, there is nothing left but to close new sales and renewals of the solution.

Fortunately, customers who have purchased the solution will not be watching vessels, as previously agreed, even if Skype decided to end the partnership the company would continue providing support and maintaining communication between the services of at least two years. More than enough time for companies to seek alternatives and change their infrastructure.

Asterisk is an Open Source solution for VoIP PBX, widely used in businesses looking to save on telephony for call centers and Help Desks, and various other purposes. With Skype for Asterisk, the service could connect to the Skype network as a native client, so users could connect to a network of other network users free of charge.

Has not yet been confirmed if this decision came at the behest of Microsoft, even if part of the purchase process, or it was just a strategic decision of Skype. But it's a shame that it is ending.

It costs nothing to remember, Microsoft also has a solution (the owner, of course) based communications, call Lync. Will we see a greater integration between Skype and it soon?

PayPal and eBay take Google Wallet to the court

The big announcement made by Google about Google Wallet  threatened eBay and PayPal and now these two companies filed a judicial complaint in the United States, that Google and its employees violate trade secrets and intellectual property with the new service.

EBay and its subsidiary PayPal produced a document with 28 pages (few hours) where they state that two employees providing services specifically related to payment systems for mobile devices left PayPal to work at Google. With these signings, eBay said that the search giant managed to technical and market knowledge to enable the Google Wallet service, which uses communication technology proximity NFC to make payments and commercial transactions.

In the case file, nominally the company cites Osama Bedier, who served as vice chairman of the department Platform, Mobile and New Ventures Company. [Bedier] helped form the broad strategy of PayPal to expand its mobile payment and offers a digital wallet, "says the document, which also states that the executive was" extremely involved "in attempts to become a PayPal option payment at point of sale. Currently, Osama Bedier is pointed to by Google as the leader of the project that became Google Wallet.

Stephanie Tilenius is also mentioned. According to eBay, she worked as a consultant to negotiate the entry of the PayPal payment service in the Android Market, shop for smartphone apps from Google, in the period 2008 to 2011. She suddenly ceased to provide its services to PayPal and then became a Google employee.

EBay discusses what appears to be the purest dirt business. PayPal says it has developed extensive knowledge on how to process payments on mobile devices, which was made possible through the investment of time and money on innovation. Suddenly, according to the company, Google comes along and uses that knowledge without worrying about patents, trade secrets and other corporate resources.

In the documentation, eBay snipe Google comes to commenting on the failure of the company's own initiative in the segment of digital payments. "After five years in operation, Google CheckOut had virtually no impact outside of Google," says the document.

In its official blog, PayPal says it will sue Google because they believe that the law was violated and that their business secrets need protection.

If the U.S. court considers the merits of the case as unfounded, it may be that Google is prevented from placing Google Wallet available to more consumers. Currently, the Wallet is going through a pilot program.

In other words, Google will have to prove in court this whole "Do not be evil".

Steve Ballmer should retire?

From time to time this matter back to the discussion table. Steve Ballmer is in charge of Microsoft makes 11 years, during which Microsoft's actions did not fall. In addition, the company is accused of failing to innovate as before, putting bad products on the market (moot point, with the exception of Windows Millennium and Vista) and still use your opinion to the dominant advantage in new markets.

For this and a little more, David Einhorn, manager of a hedge fund that owns 0.11% of Microsoft - believe me, it is enough - he said publicly that it's time for Steve Ballmer to sign his resignation letter and make good Caribbean vacation (this is on my own).

"His continued presence [Steve Ballmer] is the biggest weight on the shares of Microsoft, " Einhorn said in a conference, according to the Epicenter.

Ryan Block, Internet entrepreneur who has in its curriculum the foundation of Engadget, gave his two cents. He said that Microsoft "forgot how to do more with less. " For completeness, Block argues that Bill Gates go back to the rank of company commander, because Gates has a "killer instinct that has made Microsoft the undeniable champion of the first wave of personal computing. "

Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates: friendship inside and outside of Microsoft
That alone, two heavyweights are already asking the head of Ballmer. However, the board of Microsoft, whose chairman is none other than Bill Gates, you see - fully supports the decisions of Ballmer.

Nokia has new smartphones with WP7 every two months

Apparently the Finnish Nokia are very excited about the company's plans to offer gadgets equipped with the spoken Phone Windows 7 to market.

Speaking to U.S. magazine PC Mag, the executive vice president of the division of the company's smart devices, Jo Harlow, said the company "will launch a new unit with the WP7 every two or three months. " "We intend to offer new products at a pace that people will always have to talk, "he added.

The executive also said that Microsoft's operating system is now "a secondary platform" for most manufacturers of smartphones and his company will "explore other opportunities" to make the program more dominant, such as searching for new suppliers processors or paddling toward the CDMA technology.

In any case, the old Symbian will continue living in the heart of the company for a while. During an interview he gave to Nokia's corporate blog Conversation China, CEO Stephen Elop said that the company should support its old platform "at least" until 2016. "Even as accomplished a transition from our primary platform for smartphones to Windows phones, you will see that our investments [Symbian] continue. I know that many have doubts about how long this will continue, and we are very clear about this: the updates for Symbian are expected until at least 2016, "he said, adding that" There is still a long history for Symbian build the future. "

Another Foxconn Employee Commits Suicide

Again, an employee of the Foxconn plant installed in the city of Chengdu, China, committed suicide. The victim was once a 20 year old kid who threw the window of his host on the morning of last Thursday (local time), tells the Bloomberg news network.

As usual, the details regarding the incident are still sparse, and the reasons that caused the boy remove his own life. This is the 14th suicide in the production plant since January 2010, which last week lost three employees after an explosion.

Terry Gou, chairman of the company, declined to comment on the fact, saying had not yet received any details about the death. At other times the executive has attributed the deaths in his company for "personal reasons of workers, not by working conditions. "

Exactly one year ago the company announced a series of emergency measures to stem the deaths at the plant, including expansion of security grilles on the windows of the rooms and the installation of a mental center to help workers who are experiencing problems. Up until that time had killed 10 workers at the factory.

ASUS announces Padfone

I admire companies that thinks outside the box, take risks in different formats than we're used to seeing. Proving that has plenty of imagination in the minds of its engineers, ASUS today announced the Padfone, a kind of tablet that spits a smartphone inside. That turns a smartphone or tablet after it receives a very large attachment. Understand better the images below.

The company has a preview of what you want to advertise during COMPUTEX 2011, a technology event which takes place this week in Taiwan, China. One of the Padfone was officially announced, among a batch of laptops, monitors, computers and all-in-one.

We do not know many details of it yet, only that the tablet's screen size is 10.1 inch as standard, the smartphone's camera is 5 megapixels and its screen is 4.2 inches. See details of creating the design of Padfone the video below and watch out for 1:35 minutes in which Internet Explorer (???) makes a cameo.

There is no official word on the system yet, but if Android can be both a Honeycomb (3.1) as the Ice Cream Sandwich, which still has a number associated with it. Or it may be a Windows 7 Phone, if Internet Explorer in the video above is true. We'll know more later this week.

LinkedIn is used mostly during working hours

Not even two weeks are over that LinkedIn has opened its capital in the future and commodities exchange in New York. In one day, there was 80% appreciation in stock price, which may be purchased by anyone with interest in financing the professional social network. So far, pure economic. What few people know is that LinkedIn is just more accessible at times when people are in office.

The calculation was made by OpenDNS, a traditional company DNS resolution which I always say around here. During one week in May, they recorded the amount of Americans' access to the site LinkedIn. The result you see on the chart below (which unified all time zones that focus on U.S. territory).

During the night, virtually no access to likedin.com. However, it gives nine in the morning and we checked the peak audience in access to social network, which remains until about the 16 hours, when hours are already over. "People use LinkedIn for business hours. And almost exclusively during working hours, "said Allison Rhodes, Department of Communication at OpenDNS.

The question I ask: users often take advantage of LinkedIn to connect with your peers and possibly uncover new opportunities for the career. It is therefore reasonable to say that these people they are using the work schedule of the present company to try a place in next company? Plus, it can, Arnold? Comments are open.

Samsung wants access to the iPhone 5 and iPad 3 before everyone else

Lawsuits in the area of technology occur as frequently as others. But some of them have different consequences than we are accustomed to seeing. As with the case against Apple, Samsung, filed last month. Last week, Apple asked the court to see  future devices from Samsung. Now Samsung has applied the same principle and asked to see upcoming Apple gadgets.

The order includes a request to see the iPhone 4s or 5, whatever its name, and also iPad 3, which would be the next versions of Apple's handset. But as everyone knows, the existence of such devices for now is just rumor and speculation, since Apple maintains the equipment under a state secret.

If Apple sell, no representative from Samsung will be able to directly see the devices but the company lawyers. They would be responsible for judging whether the similarity of products with the apparatus of the South Korean manufacturer could lead to potential lawsuits in the future, which is the goal of judicial application.

I doubt a little that a lawful order will be enough to make the giant of Cupertino-release devices have not yet advertised for a competitor. Mainly because the mere release them to the lawyers from Samsung is already a confirmation that they are there, something that Apple wants to avoid confirming. But we're talking about the American justice system, then anything is possible.

Google indexes images of the arch-enemy Bing

In February, Google has not saved harsh words to denounce that Bing was copying their search results for words that did not exist in the search index of the research service from Microsoft. Now it's time for Microsoft to make similar accusations.

According to The Next Web, Google is indexing the images that systematically Bing uses its cache of search results for images. That is, robots crawl the Bing network for photos, which are copied to their server and are displayed when the user does a search. Already Google is indexing these images (already copied) and displaying the search results themselves through images.

A simple search command on Google Images reveals nearly 8 million images hosted on mm.bing.net, the address of Microsoft's search engine to keep the thumbnails. Look:

There are two implications of this situation. The first concerns the Google index results from a direct competitor. Just as they do not want Bing conduct searches within their system, the reverse should apply to Google itself.

The second implication concerns the actual modus operandi of the searchers images. Currently they create their own copies of the photos, which are in the air even when the owner of the photo strip it down. For example, if I publish a photo gallery on TB and then decide to remove it, it is likely that these images remain stored in the cache of search engines. How is my rights to the pictures? Something still unexplained.

Update on 30.05.2011 at 14h44 | A closer examination of the situation, made by René Fraga Google Discovery, shows that the images are being indexed by Google because they were included in the pages from the files stored in the Bing. It is as if the user searches for a picture, and to find it in the Bing, simply copied your address, without bothering to upload the file to your own server.

In the language of the Internet, is what we call a hotlink. Still, I can not understand why Google indexes the cache directory of images of Bing.

Gears of War 3: The Matador trailer

It was the final of the UEFA Champions League. At the break of the match, however, viewers were able to relish in the trailer for a game that has everything to be full public and critics. No more words, noble readers, I leave you with the first demonstration of Gears of War 3.

GoW 3 is scheduled for worldwide release on September 20 this year, more in a partnership with Microsoft Game Studios Epic Games. He comes to Xbox 360 first. By all appearances, the last episode of GoW trilogy (a hen that lays golden eggs for Microsoft's console, by the way).

Use Yahoo and win a year of free coffee

Yahoo put its marketing and advertisin team to work. As a result, these folks came up with a brilliant idea to bring users back to the home page and Yahoo for e-mail service Yahoo Mail. How? Distributing free coffee, as pointed out by the Digital Inspiration.

1 years worth of coffee "premium"
To compete, participants must simply access Yahoo, Yahoo Mail or Yahoo Mobile for seven consecutive days. A more weeks, nothing outrageous about it. Then gain electronic coupons for a draw every 7 days. One need only to register this special page provided by Yahoo in partnership with ePrize.

Each winner of the competition (many are) takes a shopping voucher worth U.S. $ 1,460 (equivalent to £ 2,330) to be spent over a year in a trade premium coffees. In other words, Starbucks and the like. Again, not bad for giving up your Gmail (or whatever service your preferred email) during the time.

iPad 2 appears in Apple's virtual store

The wait is over. A few minutes to put the Apple iPad 2 to sell on their website. The tablet will debut at the company store one day before being sold at authorized dealers, after long months to initiate this trade.

The iPad two simpler, with 16 GB of storage connectivity and Wi-Fi has list price of R $ 1,649. Depending on configuration, the total cost could reach R $ 2,599. Below is the complete list of device configurations and prices:

iPad 2 Wi-Fi (16GB): U.S. $ 1,649.
iPad 2 Wi-Fi (32GB): U.S. $ 1,899.
iPad 2 Wi-Fi (64GB): U.S. $ 2,199.
iPad 2 Wi-Fi and 3G (16GB): U.S. $ 2,049.
iPad 2 Wi-Fi and 3G (32GB): U.S. $ 2,299.
iPad 2 Wi-Fi and 3G (64GB): U.S. $ 2,599.
Interestingly, Apple's website lists the product, but still does not allow consumers to finalize the purchase. At least there is the promise of free shipping. There is limitation of 2 units of product per buyer.

It also has accessories for the iPad 2 at Apple Store in Brazil:

HDMI Adapter for Apple: $ 149.
Dock iPad: £ 89.
USB Power Supply 10W: £ 109.
Smart Leather Cover: $ 249.
Smart Polyurethane Cover: $ 149.
Another peculiarity concerns the iPad 2 with 3G. As the reader points out William Smith, the technical specifications of the machine with this speech in the model GSM connectivity, traditional one, and also in CDMA model, which was filed in the United States especially for Verizon Wireless. There is evidence of the crime.

Nokia unveils dual-SIM phones for Brazil

Nobody wants to stare only to offers of an operator. Sure, Hi, TIM and Vivo have good deals for their clients in both postpaid and prepaid us. And to avoid having to choose just one, Nokia announced this week the launch of two mobile phones with the ability to dual-chip in Brazil.

Nokia X1-01
If Nokia is the market for some time and has never offered such a device, why invest in dual-chip now? That's the question that probably came to his head. "Brazil has a significant demand for phones with two chips, so it is considered an important market for Nokia to release them," answered Vinicius Costa, head of Nokia's products, who spoke briefly with TB.

Nokia X1-01, according to the manufacturer, focuses on consumers who enjoy listening to music. The functions related to it are the MP3 player with dedicated buttons to control play / pause, and FM radio tuner. To the consternation of those people who hate the music of others in the socialization of public transport, Nokia says the phone has the most powerful speaker ever produced by the company.

Another launch, Nokia C2-00 has similar design as the Nokia C3, which was considered the "smartphone for beginners" by TB. The phone supports two SIM cards: one is inside the machine, very well kept, and the second SIM card goes into the side of the phone, where the exchange can happen faster chips without even off the set. Turn the system S40.
