Sony Vaio F Series, a Full HD notebook with 16.4-inch screen


While problems with the PlayStation Network are not resolved, Sony continues to increase its successful family of VAIO notebooks, launching a new series, the F Series. The new model launched in the international market comes with aspirations to be a direct competitor to HP's Envy 17, because of its size and resources offered.


The Sony VAIO F has a 16.4 inch widescreen display with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). The model has a range of hardware, and it can be found in 2D and 2D/3D versions. Your processor is an Intel Core i7, in various versions (with speeds ranging between 2 and 2.30 GHz, all with turbo boost), can support hard drives of 500 and 640 GB and 512 GB SSD, up to 8 GB of RAM and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, stereo Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and WiFi 802.11 b / g / n.

The laptop has backligt keyboard and numeric keypad, touchpad with multitouch and resource control electrostatic buttons dedicated to serving VAIO ASSIST, automatic switch to 3D mode (2D/3D model only), dedicated buttons for multimedia features and camera HD integrated with Exmor.

The Sony VAIO F also has the traditional connections of the other models in the line, as the HDMI port, microphone input and headphones, a USB 2.0 port, two USB 3.0 ports and VGA output. Finally, your battery has estimated range of up to 3 hours of use (default settings).
