Kingmax shows the first 64GB microSD card


Being small and at the same time allowing a large storage space, the standard microSD memory card is already widely adopted by several handset manufacturers (among others) today. So it is natural that developments happen in this area. The Kingmax, a company of card manufacturers, today announced one of these developments. Using something that could be a combination of miniaturization and magic, they managed to squeeze in a 64GB microSD card.


It uses the standard SDXC, so just compatible with the gadgets that technology will be able to read or write on the card. He is, moreover, a microSD Class 6, which provides read speeds of 48 mbps and writing around 6 mbps.

Moreover, the card also comes with ECC technology, which automatically corrects errors during data transmission. And all the company's microSD cards come with an algorithm that evenly distributes data across all areas of the card and increases the lifespan.

The manufacturer has not disclosed when it starts to be sold or their price, but will give a lifetime warranty for all cards of any kind.
