Another Foxconn Employee Commits Suicide

Again, an employee of the Foxconn plant installed in the city of Chengdu, China, committed suicide. The victim was once a 20 year old kid who threw the window of his host on the morning of last Thursday (local time), tells the Bloomberg news network.

As usual, the details regarding the incident are still sparse, and the reasons that caused the boy remove his own life. This is the 14th suicide in the production plant since January 2010, which last week lost three employees after an explosion.

Terry Gou, chairman of the company, declined to comment on the fact, saying had not yet received any details about the death. At other times the executive has attributed the deaths in his company for "personal reasons of workers, not by working conditions. "

Exactly one year ago the company announced a series of emergency measures to stem the deaths at the plant, including expansion of security grilles on the windows of the rooms and the installation of a mental center to help workers who are experiencing problems. Up until that time had killed 10 workers at the factory.
