Dead Island has revealed the final cover

The official forum for Dead Island has revealed the final cover of the title, in versions Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The art that closely follows the climate that the game you want to pass - the living dead on an island paradise with all the horror that this scenario can provide.


There is a curiosity about the covers, though. The American version, classified by body Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has changed its logo. In the European version, rated for over 18 years by the national Pan-European Game Information (PEGI), we see a man hanged, forming the letter "I". Already the U.S. withdraws hanged and put a zombie walk, to ease the violence.

Dead Island was announced in 2007, and for a long time, stayed away from the spotlight. The game only took over the public's attention earlier this year when an impressive trailer was released by Techland producer. The advance in pre-rendered scenes, showing a result of the struggle for survival between a family and zombies invading a hotel.

The title promises action on an island infested by the dead, transformed from people who were there to have fun and realize their dreams. The player controls several characters, who must make weapons out of objects found on site, as a wrench or a baseball bat.

The technology used in graphics involves a technique that models the characters from layers. That is, the zombies can lose pieces of their bodies with the hits and even pieces of skin, valuing the horror. Dead Island arrives on August 1.
