PS3 owners after hours of reconnecting the islands prepare to play online again. According to a notice published in the official PlayStation blog, PSN began to return to air this Saturday night, to the delight of all who were about changing the console. But before you can play online again, all islands should download the firmware update 3.61.
Sony maintains the plan to gradually restore services and Qrocity PSN. At this point, only the ability to play online (which is already quite something) and the creation of new accounts in both services is enabled. Soon the company plans to also enable the password change, something that is needed after the theft of data from more than 77 million accounts on PSN around the world.
The deadline for full restoration of services is the end of the month.
Update at 21:35 | The CEO Kazuo Hirai, warned in a video that PSN is now back online in the "most places". Apparently, as reported by some of our readers, Brazil does not appear that these sites is included. But the firmware update is available to all so far.
