See applications that have access to your Twitter account

Privacy is one of the most discussed topics on the internet. Although social networks are a great way to relate to our friends but if we do not have proper care, we can end up providing information and personal data like photos, habits etc to unkown persons and malicious software.

Just like Facebook, Twitter also lets add some applications to our profiles, giving them the authorization to access our accounts. Now that you've learned to manage Facebook applications, see also view and, if necessary, remove the applications added to your Twitter.

Step 1. Log into your Twitter account.

Step 2. Click on your username with a photograph in the upper right and select the "Settings".

Step 3. Then click the "Applications" to view the list of all applications that have access to your account.

Step 4. To make an application will not have access to your information from Twitter, click "Revoke Access" beside the application name.

Step 5. After removing the permission for an application, your name will be "cleared". To undo the action, click Undo Revoke Access ".

Over time, we forget the applications you already have authorized and, therefore, applications that are no longer in use can continue to have access to the account unnecessarily. Furthermore, this list you can identify and remove the permission of an application that has not been authorized by you.
