If you own a magical iPad, know that there are over 100 000 available apps tp use in your beloved tablet. This week the App Store came to the staggering of the first hundred thousand applications specifically for Apple's tablet, a number that is far from being reached by other competitors - Android and webOS, I think.
The number was expected. During the WWDC, which happened earlier this month, Apple executives (can not remember if it was Steve Jobs himself or was Scott Forstall, responsible for the affairs of the company iOS) commented that there were 75 000 apps for the iPad. Of course they rounded, and then the amount should already be greater than that.

It took a year and a half so that developers affiliated with Apple to produce 100 thousand apps specifically for the iPad. 453 days to be exact, considering the release date of the first generation iPhone case in April 2010.
It is clear that the phenomenon of apps for Apple's tablet is not by chance. At the time of the launch of the iPad, many devs were already committed to iOS iPhone and stumbled to rewrite your applications, now a version for the tablet, which has a larger display. The App Store iPad therefore came not exactly zero.
Since the iPad tablet is the world's most used, we have no great surprise if Apple soon exceed 150 000 apps for the device, perhaps 200,000 next year if all goes well.
By the same token, I am compelled to ask: what are the essential apps on your tablet? Discuss this Article commenting. =)
