Facebook and RockMelt: together for a social Web browser

When it was released, I think everyone has a chance to RockMelt, said to the social Web browser - I tested myself, and my impressions are here. The hype and the browser has been overlooked by most users. Now the survival RockMelt wins thanks to the support of the world's largest social network.

Facebook, which has every interest in a full-featured browser linked to the social network, announced in conjunction with the creators of RockMelt which is collaborating with the production of software.

The next version of RockMelt, users who access the Facebook notifications will no longer see the window and chat on social networking interface. This is because the very RockMelt bring this information directly in the browser, so no need to repeat them on the user interface of Facebook.

Apparently, the partnership ends there. Facebook has no plans (public, at least) to adopt the recommended RockMelt as your browser. Much less to suggest to users who download the application, a move that may leverage the amount of times the RockMelt been downloaded since its launch.

The CEO of RockMelt says that more innovations are on the way, thanks to a partnership between the browser and social networking. Let's see if that helps trigger the downloads, estimated at 1 million (with "hundred thousand" active users, in the words of CEO).

You would use the RockMelt just because he is better integrated with Facebook?

And now, two things you did not know about RockMelt: 1. It has a browser version for iPhone 2. Only 0.57% of accesses were made using the TB RockMelt (last month).
