In hands with ZTE Skate running Android 2.3

ZTE launched last week in Brazil during the 2011 Futurecom another of their devices with Android, Skate, announced there had been a while. He arrives in stores today live in São Paulo and in shops operating in the rest of the country in the coming weeks. And the price he pays will be sold not appear too much to expect the other carriers: are $ 849 (prepaid) for an Android nothing modest.

The ZTE Skate comes with a 4.3 inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 800 MHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and auto focus, and the trio of connectivity that accompanies most Androids: Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. It runs Android 2.3.4 and ZTE has no plans to upgrade it to the next version of Android, do not buy that hope.

Still, the Skate Android seems to be a good and cheap, which could be popular in Brazil. Although it may seem kind of big in the hand, he has a good grip, is light and it seemed pretty fast. I never run anything intensive application in the five minutes that I played with him, but did not notice any lag or performance loss. And for what it delivers in specifications, certainly worth the price.

In Brazil, Vivo has the exclusive sales Skate for three months. And it is being sold tied to an 12-month contract in the plan by 100 Live Smartphone R $ 329.00.

PS.: The photos were taken with an iPhone 3G because the smart here forgot to charge the camera battery.
