Just before the opening of IFA 2011, Samsung is already advertising the new models to its line of mobile computers. The latest to join this line is the Series 7 Chronos, which has settings comparable to the MacBook Pro from Apple. With an aluminum exterior finish, the Chronos 7 Series comes in two models, 15.6 and 14 inches, but both with 23.6 mm thick.

Technical specifications vary, but the base model includes a 15.6-inch Intel Core i5-2430M, 6GB of RAM, integrated graphics and 750 GB HD. The model above can include this inside an Intel Core i7-2675QM, video card AMD Radeon HD6750M with 1 GB of dedicated memory, 8 GB of RAM but retains the same storage capacity and screen resolution, 1600 x 900 pixels.

Both also feature a variety of connectivity options Bluetooth, USB and HDMI, and optical drive capable of recording and playback of DVDs, 1.3 megapixel camera and a card reader SD memory card. The VGA output is included in the notebook must be equipped with an adapter to work with monitors. The battery, according to Samsung, can run nine hours, but as we have seen in trials of the notebook manufacturer here in TB, this estimation is not always very realistic.

The price of the Series 7 Chronos ranges from U.S. $ 999.00 U.S. $ 1,299.00, depending on configuration. He must begin to be sold in Europe and the United States from October 2 and has no date for arrival in Brazil.
