Steve Jobs Passed Away

This is a difficult post to write. After creating dozens of products and services that have revolutionized the computer industry, Steven Paul Jobs, or Steve Jobs, died on the night of Wednesday at age of 56 years.

Details are still scarce, but Apple confirmed today in a brief press release the death of its former CEO saying that "the passion, energy and brilliance of Steve were a source of many innovations that enrich and improve our lives."

Although it has not been revealed the cause of his death, Steve Jobs has fought a hard battle against cancer for some time. He came to get away for treatment twice and also received a liver transplant in 2009.


In honor of its co-founder, Apple now displays a photo of a young Steve Jobs on the cover of your site. It leads to this page, which reads:

"Apple has lost a visionary and a creative genius and the world lost a great human being. Those of us who were lucky enough to meet and work with Steve Jobs lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve Jobs leaves behind a company that only he could have built and his spirit will forever be a cornerstone of Apple "

Already in Cupertino, Apple headquarters, the flags are flown at half-mast.


According to the family, Steve Jobs passed away peacefully alongside the people he loves.
