Samsung tries to stop Sale of iPhone 4S

Even as the five alleged iPhone was still a rumor, Samsung had already mentioned it would file a lawsuit against Apple to prohibit its sale in some countries for alleged patent infringement. Now we know that the said iPhone is not real, the process of Samsung had to have some parts changed and moved forward, the company announced today that it will ask for the lock to sell the iPhone 4S in two European countries.

The countries chosen to receive the lock request are France and Italy, and only the second of them by Tim Cook was quoted yesterday as one of those who receive the iPhone 4S stores in the next 28 days. France will receive the device later this year but if Samsung's request is accepted, the early sales may be delayed. About the process, the company said "Apple has continued to violate our intellectual property" and should therefore open up new applications in other countries similar judicial, but does not mention which or when.

While one arm of the Samsung tries to stop selling the new iPhone, the other tries to offer a helping hand to be shaken: the Australian subsidiary of South Korean electronics tried to supposedly make a deal with the giant apple to stop the process and able to get your Galaxy Tab 10.1 on the market. But the agreement was promptly snubbed by Apple, which indicates that this legal mess is still far from being finished.
