Adobe releases Flash 11 and Air 3 for download

Adobe today released  for downloading  3  version of its AIR platform and version 11 of its renowned Flash plugin. And as such major change requires longer version, the two came up with significant changes to the above, but not exactly news to those who accompanied the release of beta versions in the past.

With Adobe Flash 11 included, among other things you can check here, support for 64-bit processors and an own renderer which uses native hardware accelerator, called Stage 3D, and support for the Unreal Engine 3, the engine games responsible for the graphics of Unreal Tournament 3, Gears of War 3 and several others. As for mobile platforms like Android and BlackBerry OS, Adobe promises to support the arrival of Stage 3D soon, but already provides performance improvements in version 11 plugin.

In the Air 3 are performance enhancements in general, to ensure a higher refresh rate but without overtaxing the hardware. For this reason the new version of the platform is also compatible with TVs also connected as Samsung and LG. Some applications may be run on these Air TVs, provided they are optimized for what they offer.
