Facebook iPad app 'hidden' in iPhone code

With the launch of the iPad, developers would have to adapt their launch new applications or if they wanted to take advantage of the entire screen of the tablet. To make life easier for them, Apple has the option to include in the program the two versions of the code, an iPhone and another for the iPad. Facebook did it with your application but apparently did not want anyone to know.

MG Siegler, the American blog TechCrunch, rummaged the Facebook application code (which was recently updated) and found the code for the iPad in the middle of her womb. In the application included the option to chat, upload photos, post comments on posts and all sorts of features that already existed in the version for iPhone. But in addition, is also included the option to change privacy settings, something that was only possible in the web version of the site.

For now the application will continue showing the iPhone version if the iPad, but who have a jailbroken Apple tablet may risk activate it manually. For that you need to change a number in the code Facebook.app, nothing too complicated.
