YouTube tests new look

If you're tired just the way that YouTube has videos and everything else, I have good news: the service today announced the start of testing the new interface. There is no guarantee that it will be adopted in the future, but you can be one of the first to test what they call the Cosmic Panda.

According to the expert in semiotics (not) Rafael Silva, editor of TB, the new look YouTube mimics the coloration of a panda, and that is where the name comes. "The panda is black with white belly," says Rafael. And the same goes for YouTube "Cosmic Panda."

Want to try? Just enter this special page and activate the experiment. Once this is done, YouTube starts to open the pages with the interface already differentiated. Everything changed: video pages, playing playlists, channels users. Just missed the cover of the update site, which continues with the structure essentially intact, although the top is also more modern.

Particularly liked the result. The video pages seem to be more focused on the video itself. Not to mention that there are controls to advance to the next video or back to the previous perfect resource for when we are entertained watching all that a channel or playlist can offer. By the way, the channel is on YouTube Tecnoblog orders for those who want to put Panda in Cosmic test.

Still do not understand where to place your YouTube advertising space. From what I saw, the raw pages are advertising. And it certainly will not be so if the Cosmic Panda is adopted instead.
