Microsoft prohibits weak passwords On Hotmail

To ensure the safety of users of Hotmail, Microsoft will block the use of weak passwords for new entries and for those who need to change the password. Things like "123456" will no longer be permitted within the Hotmail system - the user is forced to choose something stronger and safer than that.

A well thought-out attitude, I believe, to educate Internet users that the network security also depends on them.
