No, the iPhone 4 does not work in 4G

Fulfilling its duty to clarify the facts, the report extraordinary reports: although it is very beautiful and sleek, the iPhone does not work in the four networks with 4G technology. The smartphone can even be the most desired among consumers, but is far from the forefront with regard to its data transmission technology.

A recent study by the shopping site Retrevo and product analysis revealed that 34% of users who have an iPhone think that the device uses the mobile broadband speed. Of course all these people is completely wrong, since the iPhone is still far from work with LTE - or any other framed as the fourth generation, I must say.

The question for 1081 owners of smartphones in the United States was: "Do you plan to buy a 4G mobile phone this year?" Among the options, there was the 'I already have one. " 34% of iPhone owners have marked this option. Among the owners of BlackBerry devices, 24% also chose the same answer, even though the BB devices are also not adapted to 4G.

The staff of Retrevo raises the possibility that the iPhone name 4 to imply (wrongly) that it is a smartphone for 4G networks. We can not blame these consumers, since the second-generation smartphone, called the iPhone 3G, was named to indicate that it depends not only on EDGE.

Here in the U.S. mobile phone carriers have decided to expand their 4G networks only now. Offers of compatible devices with broadband high-speed mobile are still very few, and almost exclusive of the Android platform.

Legend has it that the next generation iPhone (iPhone 5? IPhone 4S?) Will work in 4G networks. But we only have this confirmation when, once again, Apple CEO onstage probably from Moscone West to show the news for the company's telephony market. Meanwhile, nothing to think that the iPhone 4 is named because of 4G.
