Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab will not receive Android 4.0 or "value pack"

According to Business Insider: Because of hardware limitations Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab can not receive the fourth version of Android. Still, as the owner of a Galaxy S, I allow myself to wonder why a custom ROM with the Ice Cream Sandwich work better and faster on my phone about the version with Gingerbread - is the default installation of Samsung or any custom ROM available.

The list of manufacturers who have already taken steps so, however, contains not only the name of Samsung. Motorola, at the launch of Dexter, said that this model would advance versions of Android, but then turned around and did not update the device. HTC is another, updating the equipment in some countries while in others the same models do not get a new version.

It is a serious problem caused by the decentralization of the platform, as each manufacturer does whatever it wants - because there is no control of Google. That way, it remains for those who do not wait to get their hands on Ice Cream Sandwich is to install a custom ROM.
